It makes me sad to look at my blog and see that I haven’t posted much in the last week! I hate coming on here giving you some little ditty about why I’ve been neglectful of you or going on and on about why I haven’t posted. but I do need to post some sort of explanation! Whatever Super Genius had last week and that Pie had the week before that, I believe they gave it to me. I’ve been fighting this nasty little bug that’s trying to get me down! You know it starts with a scratch in the throat, itchy ears, headache and just a general BLAH feeling. I haven’t had the fever part yet but I have had the chills and Brr have they really sucked! This all means I’ve been going to bed earlier than usual. Every time I’ve sat down to post this week my poor foggy stuffy head has drawn a blank and then my head starts to ache, so I haven’t posted. Hopefully I shake it off and everything will get back to its normal randomness by next week! I can’t really complain because this is the first time I’ve felt really crappy most of the winter. I can’t blame it on the weather or start complaining about the cold either. After all, we live in northwestern Pennsylvania, our weather is nuts!
I’m thankful for the few scheduled guest posts I had go up this week since I’ve been absent, which reminds me of something I’ve been thinking about I’ve enjoyed doing the Sincerely Saturday meme, reading every one’s guest posts has been interesting and fun. I think I’d like to take a different direction though. So many seem to just want an advertisement, I don’t want Sincerely Saturday to be about that so I don’t accept many that do apply. The meme should be about people and they’re passions, we’ve had some good ones but I want more! If you are a blogger that has a passion about something then I want to hear from you! Books, hobbies, favorite subjects, poetry, crafts, I know there are so many of you that have these passions and more. Tell us about them! I’d love to schedule you for a Sincerely Saturday Guest post! Pictures are encouraged and one or two links are just fine. I don’t require it, but a post on your blog pointing your readers to your guest post makes it even better for both of us! :)
I’m looking forward to this evening because I miss my hubby. He’s only been gone since 3am yesterday morning but that’s long enough for me. Some Amish friends of my step-dad needed a ride up to New York so hubby did it for the money he drove over 500 miles yesterday! The trip should help us pay at least one bill, maybe 2 depending on how many miles they rack up driving around looking at properties to buy. It may even turn into something more since this particular Amish man is looking for a new driver for his construction crew. Super G. has worked with the Amish off and on since I’ve known him so it wouldn’t be anything new to us. I won’t get my hopes up but it would be a blessing for sure! This winter has really gotten him down, the construction trade is a fickle one and hasn’t been kind to us the past few months. I think everyone in this area has been cutting back. Super G. has been putting in resumes and job hunting but it’s hard when there are hardly any listings in the classifieds! We put his resume on Monster. com and now our answering machine keeps getting calls from Insurance agencies who “would love to talk to him” about a career. I’m sorry insurance people but that’s not even close to what he is looking for! How do they get Insurance agent trainee from General Contractor? It’s kind of silly really!
While I’m being random let me just say, I hate my favicon! I can’t get a chicken to look good in that teeny-tiny-itsy-bitsy-little square up there and it’s making me mad! Also, what’s up with all these spammy emails I’ve been getting lately? Of course we’re getting the usual “My uncle died and I want to wire you 35 million usd” type emails (hey I would be a trillion-aire this month alone! lol) but lately I’ve been getting ones from yahoo, and from women no less, about how much they want me and want to meet me and blah blah blah.. Seriously, it’s starting to freak me out! I’m not sure how to stop them either, I don’t do anything on yahoo besides IM my cousin and my mom so what’s up with that? See for yourself!
WTH!
Well, I guess my fingers knew what to do today when I sat down! That’s the most I’ve written in over a week and it feels good! I’ve also been neglectful about commenting on my favorite blogs and replying to your awesome comments here, I do apologize for that! I will give ya’ll some love as soon as I catchup! It’s almost Friday, where has the week gone?

Thanks for the kind words and yep normalcy will come back eventually r as normal as I can get lol!
Hope you're feeling better by now : ) My husband is a carpenter too-so I know how you feel-he has had to leave home to find work for over a year. The construction has totally stopped in our area.
