The sun is shining today and the mildly warm temperatures are making me long for hot summer days! Of course, summer means I’ll be able to pack away the sweaters and jeans in favor of lighter summer wear! I prefer to spend my summer days being comfortable in casual dresses or shorts. There’s something about the breeze blowing the hem of my dress against my legs that makes me smile ☺. I think it reminds me of being a little girl! I was fortunate enough to receive a gorgeous casual sun dress from the Fresh Produce Summer line. The Impromptu Dress I chose is a gorgeous shade of blue called “Cool Breeze”. I am so happy with the way that the dress fits! it’s never easy for me to shop for clothing online. I have an odd pear shaped body so I am hard to satisfy when it comes to finding a good fit.
The dress that I ordered is a size Large. I was worried that the sizing wold run small since that seems to be the norm when I order clothing. While the large fits wonderfully, I could have went down to my normal size Medium with no problem at all. The material is super stretchy and I still would have had lots of room.
Another feature that I absolutely love about my new summer dress is the length. Finding a dress that is long enough to add comfortable coverage without being granny-like can be a challenge. The Impromptu dress falls perfectly at the knee with longer calf-length wings on the sides. It makes for an attractive swingy look and I am in love with this style!
The wide straps, ruched back and effortless style are all part of the reason why this dress will be my favorite summer wardrobe piece this year!
