Freschetta Pizzas are the frozen pizza of choice in our home. They always taste fresh and delicious and there a ton of varieties to please us all, even the picky eaters! Since October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month, the makers of Freschetta want you to be informed about their efforts to help support breast cancer research. With a huge goal of being able to donate $50,000 to the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, they need our help!
During the month of October, there will be specially marked packages of Freschetta frozen pizzas available, these packages will have a special code printed on them. You can visit Freschetta’s www.ProudToSupportPink.com website to enter your code. For every code entered, Freschetta will donate $1.00 {up to $50,000}. When you enter your codes, you’ll also be entered to win one of the 50 pink iPod shuffle players that are being given away each week. 50 iPods are also being donated to four cancer centers each week as well.
Members of www.ProudToSupportPink.com can share stories of survival and their journey. There is also a $1.00 off coupon for you to use towards your Freschetta purchases. Make sure you also stop by Freschetta’s facebook page to keep up to date on current coupons and information.
My store didn’t have the specially marked packages yet but I will be back to find a couple before the month is over! The 4-cheese medley pizza is one of my favorites {it’s even good served as a side along with pasta!}

I am a 16 year breast cancer survivor. I found the lump myself after we had been married just 6 months. Because of all the treatment & drugs I had to take, we were not able to have children. But I made up for that by teaching Kindergarten & all of those parents shared their children with me every day.
Thank you so much for sharing your story! How wonderful that you have found a job that you love and how lucky all of those parents are to have you for their child’s teacher! Congrats on kicking cancer’s butt!

I’ll tell you about both. My favorite pizza topping is extra cheese.
My experience with breast cancer was 15 years ago when my grandmother found out she had it, but decided she didn’t want to go through chemotherapy. She rarely gave self examinations and never got mammograms. She thought she wouldn’t get it because no one else in the family had ever had cancer. I’ve learned to realize I’m not so invincible.
I am going to tell you both. I love pepperoni. And breast cancer has affected me because I had a huge lump a few years ago. We found out it was benign but it was a very scary time and has made me really support the Susan G Komen foundation.
