OREO Stuffed Brownies – you NEED them

Last week I was blog hopping and ran across something on My Name Is Momma‘s blog that sounded yummy. Very yummy. Something I have never heard of before…

OREO Stuffed Brownies.

I cannot believe how good they are, you must try them!

All you need is…

a box of Brownie mix (and ing. to make)

and

OREO cookies.

Mix up the box of brownies just like the back tells you to. Then dip the OREO cookies in the brownie batter, being sure to completely coat the cookie.

making oreo brownies

Place your fudgy morsels into muffin tins that have been sprayed very well with non stick cooking spray. (I glopped more on top because this makes a lot of brownies and I only have muffin tins to make 18! 24 would be perfect)

baking oreo brownies in muffin tins

Bake them in a preheated 350 degree oven for about 10 – 12 minutes until just barely set. Don’t overcook them! They’ll still look soft, that’s the OREO, it’s turned into a gooey fudgy sinful thing … yum.

Remove from tins immediately and let cool slightly before you, your kids, your hubby, and your parents inhale them.

Oreo Stuffed Brownies

I’ve heard tell that these Oreo stuffed Brownies are just as good cold the next day.

Um… ya right, like there any left over to test that theory!

p.s. If you liked these then you might liked Waffled Cinnamon Rolls too!

I made these last night for my parents, oldest daughter and future son-in-law. They were heavenly. One pan stuck a little so I took the “mistakes” to work. One doctor said, “I like the topless brownies” and a receptionist said, “You can bring your mistakes to work any time!” I will be making these again very soon!!! Thanks so much for sharing such a simple but decadent idea.

I made these for Easter since my niece that is allergic to chocolate was not going to be there. I was so excited to finally have a reason to make these. Once they were cooled to room temperature they just weren’t the same. I was a little disappointed! I will definitely make these again but in a much SMALLER scale. Maybe a dessert at a dinner party… nice and warm with a huge scoop of ice cream, alittle homemade hot fudge… WONDERFUL!!
