Happy Memorial Day Weekend!
Many of us take time to celebrate the beginning of summer on Memorial Day weekend. It's also a time to look back and honor the memory of all those who have passed while serving in the United States Military. I just want to say thank you to all those who protect our lives each and every … [Continue Reading...]
Vet Depot helps us keeps pet care costs lower
Summer means more than just cookouts and vacations. It also means that our dog Ginger will be spending a lot more time outside with the family. Ginger loves the outdoors but she hates the fleas and other insects that mercilessly try to make their home in her fur. I'm not too fond of them myself … [Continue Reading...]
Do not fall for this Pinterest Scam!
I've been reading a lot about a scam that's targeted at Pinterest users, mainly foodies. Not being a "food blog", I never thought about it happening to a pin from ahensnest.com. Chicken Noodle Soup with Fresh Homemade Egg Noodles
I wasn't planning on posting this chicken noodle soup recipe, hence the horrible quality cell phone photos! Once the family tried it, though-- we decided it was probably one of the best soups I have ever made! Which means I had to share it so I would remember just how I threw it together! The … [Read More...]

Homemade rolls are a favorite in our home. I love trying new recipes for them and also have a few stand by favorites. This recipe is one I use when I'm short on time.
