If you are a blogger, you might be obsessed with looking at your blog stats. It isn’t hard to get into a daily habit of refreshing your Google Analytics page or obsessively checking to see if anyone clicked on one of your affiliate links. But, it gets old.
And, if you have a random no niche blog, like I do — you’ll probably soon get disgusted with the insane ups and downs that your stats seem to go through.
A few months back.. actually it may have been a year ago…. I found a cool feature on visual.ly. This isn’t a review or anything, just something I think is neat. Anyways, each week Visually sends me a cool Google Analytics Report infographic that has my blog stats for the week on it. Sometimes, it’s depressing and I delete the email immediately. Other times, it makes me feel like I still exist in the blogging world.
It’s also a good way to see if any changes or posts from the past week were good content, or not. And, the point of all this is — I no longer obsess over my stats. They are what they are and all I can do is blog how I want to blog. If my traffic stinks next week because I forgot, until this very moment, that I didn’t put up my Friday Giveaway linky — well, I’ll probably see it on the Infographic!
p.s. I hate facebook
I am going to try that!! I am obsessed with my stats!! I’m like you, I know I NEED Facebook, but I HATE it!! I’m not good at it!!

I check my stats, but I am not obsessed. They are what they are, right? LOL.
That’s a nice way to view your stats.
I check mine only when I’m applying for something that asks for them.
