One of the things I like best about owning the Keurig, is that I can share it with my family. Not only do my hubby and I enjoy brewing our favorite coffees, but my daughter and I have been having a lot of fun making tea, hot chocolate and now, apple cider!
My daughter and I are in love with the Green Mountain Naturals Apple Cider K-Cups that we received this month! We sat down and enjoyed a cup of this delicious hot brew the other day. Oh my was it ever a nice way to bring in the Fall season!
First of all, the smell is amazing! When you brew an Apple Cider K-cup, the whole kitchen will smell like an apple orchard just full of ripe red apples! Mmm! Which makes sense since it is made with real apples. My daughter had a look of pure contentment on her face as we sat smiling at each other while we sipped.
Best of all, I feel great about sharing this natural fall treat with my daughter. The Hot Apple Cider has a total of just FIVE ingredients — Dried Apples, Brown Sugar, Natural Flavors, Organic Malic Acid, Reb A (Stevia Extract) — that’s it! All pronounceable! Plus there are no added preservatives, artificial colors or preservatives! Filled to the brim with fresh picked apple goodness, each cup is comforting and warm. I think the K-Cups have a nice apple flavor and I didn’t notice any aftertaste at all. While it isn’t authentic fermented cider, it is a very nice substitute when you’re craving something that screams fall! I was glad to have a few minutes out of the day to sit and chat with my daughter over a mug of cider, without any extra work.

I’m not a big fan of their hot apple cider I guess living in apple country here makes it so I don’t like it. I do want to try that lemonade though!
It definitely is not authentic apple cider, but we still thought it was tasty! I’m not a huge fan of lemonade, which is why I have yet to try this one!
