Ever since she was little my daughter has loved wearing bright and girly hair accessories. She has quite the collection and is always happy to add to it! When Ladybugs N Butterflies boutique asked us to do a review we were quite happy! Pie browsed through the site and oohed and ahhed over the large variety of “pretties” it contained!
It was a hard choice but finally she settled on the Sophie Brooke in Lavender and the Makayla Mae in Red. I chose to have them both made on the 2″ French Barrette. We couldn’t be happier with them! The Sophie Brooke is such a unique looking cord flower. The Swarovski Rhinestones are pretty, they really sparkle in the light. The red satin of the Makayla Mae is just beautiful and has a nice sheen to it that contrasts so well with the clear beads scattered across the top.
Both french barrette clips are covered with a nice grosgrain ribbon that really shows the quality and care that goes into the making of each piece. I was pleased with the strength of the barrette and can tell that it will stay together and last for a long time.
Pie has been wearing both barrettes but seems to be partial to the lavender Sophie Brooke. It looks just adorable when worn right above a pony tail and goes with so many of her clothes. She has received several compliments and likes telling people she found them online! When I asked her what she thought of them tonight before I sat down to write she simply said “Mom, they’re awesome!!”
