{almost} Wordless Wednesday – Halloween Costume of Old #ww

Halloween is tomorrow and this is the first year that I won’t be walking around with the kids! Tom is a college student these days so no trick-or-treating for him :). Pie wasn’t planning to go until a friend asked her so she’ll be walking around with her parents. They are sure growing up! So…. I dug out the only photo I have of myself in a Halloween costume. This is my 1984 Little Red Riding Hood costume that my mom and Gramma made for me, I remember how much I loved it and how the older neighbor kid dressed up as the big bad wolf and scared the crap out of me all night at the Church haunted house — good times! Hope you have a great Wednesday!

p.s. I had to carry that huge basket of fake food and loaf of bread around with me all night! Thanks Mom!

  17. I love it! I was Little Red Ridding Hood for Halloween one year. Then a few years later we dyed the cape black so I could be a witch.

  18. Wowzers, that’s quite the basket you had to lug around! I enjoy looking at costumes of today and yesteryear.
