Clearasil Ultra Rapid Action Gel Wash and Wipes Review

clearasil ultra acne medication

My daughter has reached that in-between age. You know, the one where your body starts going all haywire on you and your voice is changing, your shape is changing and your hormones are wreaking havoc on your skin. Yep, that wonderful pre-teen time of life. It’s a ball… Pie has had beautiful skin for most of her childhood, up until a few months ago it was clear and smooth. Lately though, she has been having a serious battle with acne in the T-zone area of her face. As a mom, it is just so hard not being able to instantly make her all better.

We recently partnered with Mom Central Consulting to provide a review for two Clearasil acne medications made for busy teens and pre-teens — an acne facial wash and moist wipes. I have use Clearasil products off and over over the years myself so I was interested in having Pie try out these new products to see if they would help her acne. I made a quick video to share our thoughts. Pie was too chicken to get on camera so please just ignore my dorkiness!

Clearasil Ultra Rapid Action Review Video

What we tried:

Clearasil Ultra Rapid Action Daily Gel Wash

  • Visibly clearer skin in as little as 12 hours!
  • Starts work instantly to clear blocked pores
  • Gel formula is easy to use and delivers pimple fighting action!

Clearasil Ultra On-The-Go Rapid Action Wipes

  • Starts clearing pores to fight breakouts on the go!
  • Easy to carry travel sized pouch holds 30 wipes
  • No need to rinse or use water, just swipe and go!

Both products are dermatologist recommended and have maximum strength acne fighting ingredient of 2% Salicylic Acid. We think both products are a wonderful way for tenagers and preteens to take care of their skin and maintain a clearer complexion. They are perfect for kids who are super busy, since you only need to use one product.

Where to buy and how to stay in touch!

Clearasil Ultra Rapid Action Daily Gel Wash and On-The-Go Rapid Action Wipes are available nationwide at major drugstores and mass merchandisers.

I wrote this review while participating in a campaign for Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Clearasil. I received product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item as a thank you for participating.

Spreading the news on to my teen girl. Your daughter’s room looks a lot like my daughter’s room, by the way. ;)

Oh my goodness, my daughter is obsessed with a certain boy band! And, you didn’t even see the life size cut out she has of Nial, LOL! It scares me sometimes when I forget it’s there!

Henrietta, you did such a great job on the video. My preteen is having the same problems. I will have to get the clearasil and let her try it. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you Katy! I’m not going to tell you how many **cough** hours it took me to make, edit and upload this video! It was painful :)
Acne is one of the worst parts of teen years, I hope your daughter benefits from Clearasil!

These products look promising.. My best friend’s daughter is going through such a tough time dealing with pimples.. she has tried a lot of products but nothing seems to help. I’m not sure if she tried this so will let her know..
The video is great and you don’t look dorky at all:)

We camp a lot in the summer and the wipes would be perfect for my preteen girl who is going through the same thing.

Yes! The wipes would be great for family camping trips and for kids to take along to summer camp where they may not have as much time in the morning before activities get started!

Great video – you got all the key points. My DD’s been getting blackhead on her nose but her skin is pretty dry above her lip and on her cheeks/forehead. I may have to check at the the wipes out for her nose. Thanks!
