Two cakes for April Fool's Day Dinner

Guess what? Mama just got the kids good :) . It was one of the funnest April Fools Day dinners we’ve had in a long time. I took everything over to my Mom & Lee’s house to prepare. No peeking that way! The kids came over with Super G. after school for supper.

We had cake for dinner. Two of them. The kids didn’t really buy that, they knew something was up. Just not what. {get the recipe for the Spaghetti Torte I made. It’s good!} One of those cakes looked a bit strange.

The thing that really got them was the strawberry jello “juice“. I didn’t think Lee was going to be able to quit laughing when Mr.T. picked up his glass and tried to suck the jello through it. Oh wow was THAT funny! Luckily Pie was using the little girl’s room when he found the surprise so we got to enjoy her discovering the jello juice too. Then, while I did the dishes, Mr.T. gave grandma a makeover….um maybe this should be called a make under?? Sorry mom, I don’t like the spiked Mohawk look on you so much, but I love you! Don’t hurt me :)

Ahh, good times. What did you do for April Fools Day?
