Save Lids to Save Lives Campaign – Yoplait yogurt

According to the American Cancer Society, one in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer within her lifetime, 1 in 8! Let it sink in…. 12 percent of all women will be personally impacted by this disease! This is an outstanding and frightening number! My Aunt is a breast cancer survivor, both my mom and aunt have lost other members of the family to this disease. It’s something we all need to stand up and fight against!

How can we help? Lick your lids! YoPlait will donate 10 cents to Susan G. Komen for the Cure®, up to $1.5 million, with a guaranteed minimum donation of $500,000, for every Pink Lid that ‘s mailed in before December 31, 2009.

To mail in your lids: Lick it! Wash and dry well. Flatten and place up to 12 (for 1 first class stamp) into a regular envelope. Use your return address so that funds can be distributed to your local Komen Foundation Affiliates.
