Our family loves our gadgets, which is why there are three Kindles in the house! One for me and one for each of the kids. We use our Kindles A LOT. My college age son likes to use his kindle to watch movies via Amazon Prime and my teen daughter loves playing games with Amazon Apps and reading young adult novels, browsing the web and chatting with her friends on Facebook. Me? I use my kindle every night to read myself to sleep!
With all the abuse we give our kindles, we all need to have a sturdy Kindle Fire HD case. I recently received a Snugg Amazon Kindle Fire HD 7in Case Cover by TheSnugg for my daughter to review. She needed a case badly so she was happy to try this one out for me.
This is the first Snugg Kindle case that we’ve had the opportunity to try and it will not be the last! The leather case has a great feel to it and it doesn’t have that nasty smell you can sometimes get with a new case.
The black Nubuck interior of the case is soft and I love the contrast of the large white stitching against the black leather material of the case — it’s a very professional looking case.
We found that the case fit our Kindle Fire HD 7inch perfectly. The cutouts for the rear speaker, camera hole and Kindle Fire HD ports are all perfectly aligned and allow for easy access so that she can charge her Kindle with no problems.
Pie doesn’t use a stylus with her Kindle so she was happy that we could tuck the loop into the case behind her Kindle — it was bothering her by sticking out but was a simple problem to fix since Snugg already had the cutout provided to tuck it away!
We like that the case has two different options for standing securely with the leather flap — one A slanted position for when you need to type or flick online articles and an upright position great for movie watching or Skyping.
As a mom, I love this case for my daughter because it is very durable and protects the Kindle well. There is no way this Kindle will fall out of the case, it’s is a snug fit and the velcro flap really secures the case inside of the cover.
My daughter can also prolong her Kindle Fire HD’s battery life with the Snugg case – when you close the front cover, the case automatically puts the Kindle to sleep and when you open it, the Kindle will auto wake — very convenient and no more hunting for the on/off button in the dark!
We were both excited about the elastic hand strap too. The strap makes holding the kindle Fire HD easier, especially over longer periods of time. It feels very comfortable on the back of the hand — not scratchy at all and it stretches well while maintaining a grip. We will definitely be purchasing two more cases in the future for our other kindles!

Oh man, my husband totally needs one of these for his Kindle. It’s exactly what he’s been looking for.
THAT’S a nice case!!! They seem to have put a lot of consideration into making it, I’d love to get one for my son’s Kindle.
Truth be known, I’d love to get one for my own, but I have a case and he doesn’t. :)
This looks like a nice quality case to keep the Kindle protected!
This is a nice looking case! I have one really similiar for an IPad1 and that thing has really held up well (I read alot on mine)
This is a nice case. My husband drags his Kindle around with him all the time. I keep trying to find one that is sturdy enough for him. I will have to have him check this out.
