Get the game day party started with Tyson Any’Tizers! #tysonanytizers

I’m going to admit this right up front, I could care less about watching football, or any sport for that matter, on the tube. I didn’t grow up around sports, or know anyone who was a sports fanatic, and I was quite clumsy as a kid so that probably has something to do with my lukewarm feeling towards sports. Super G watches the occasional game and we do always end up watching the Super Bowl each year, he likes to watch the game, while I love seeing all the creative and crazy commercials, not to mention the halftime shows.

Plus, game day gives me an excuse to whip up some quick and easy party foods for my family to enjoy in between plays (or commercials in my case!). Game day is always more fun with a few friends or extended family members to enjoy it with. A great way to get everyone involved is to have a potluck. Ask each guest to bring a dish or snack to share.

Let’s get this party started!

Even if you’ll only be celebrating with your immediate family members, you can still host a  fantastic party. Ask the kids what they would like to make, easy to prepare foods like Tyson Any’tizers are a great option for the kids to “cook”. Then help them create a few new dipping sauces to go with their dish. They’ll really feel like they’re a part of the game day activities!

Tyson Any'tizers

With a ton of different varities like Chicken Quesadippers, Boneless Chicken Bites and delicious wings, Tyson Any’tizers is sure to have a snack everyone in the family will enjoy. Since, it will be just the family this year, I’m going to pick up a Variety Pack that includes Boneless Chicken Bites, Homestyle Chicken Fries and Popcorn Chicken. Yum!

Now that the food is covered, you need to create a party atmosphere! Hang a few balloons in your team’s colors — a roll of streamer paper, napkins, coordinating paper plates and plastic silverware can all be found for cheap at the local dollar store and will add to the festive feeling. Have the kids create paper hats and flags to cheer their team on, don’t discourage a little bit of friendly competition if you’ll be rooting for opposing teams! The less fortunate team can clean up the after-game mess!
