Harlem Globetrotters in the You Write The Rules World Tour #GlobieFamily

We’re getting pumped up to go see one of our favorite shows! In April the Harlem Globetrotters will be back in our town and we wouldn’t miss it! For the last 3 years, we have attended their show —  it’s a great way to spend time together as a family. There is nothing better than watching a bunch of grown men be just plain silly — from playing fun tricks on each other, wearing the occasional tutu and making some amazing shots — we know we’re in for a good time at a Globetrotter game!

This year, the show is even more unique.

The Harlem Globetrotters love seeing families laugh together during our games, and would love to see your family when we come to a city near you.  If you’re looking for an awesome event the whole family will enjoy, get your tickets to the Harlem Globetrotters “You Write the Rules” tour.  Your family’s smiles will start before you even get to the game because this year, your family can vote at harlemglobetrotters.com, and decide rules for the game like two balls in play at the same time that could affect the final outcome. After the game, Globetrotters will stay on court to sign autographs and take photographs with your kids.  The only thing better than finding an event the whole family will enjoy, is getting a great deal on it.  Save $7 per ticket* by using the promo code “TOGETHER.  Get ready to experience a show your family will remember for a lifetime!  *Discount available on select ticket levels.

Besides all of the laughs and smiles we have at Globetrotter games, we also love how interactive the shows are. It’s fun to see audience members swept up in the comedy. This year the game has even more audience participation since we get to vote on the rules for the game! In the “You Write The Rules” show, we can vote for one of of these rules to be added to the game:

  • TWO Ball Basketball: play the game with 2 balls at once!
  • Double Points: double score for each basket!
  • 4 Point Shot: 35 feet from the basket and only in Globetrotter games!
  • Penalty Box: both teams could end up there for all fouls, all the time!
  • 6 on 5: Five Globetrotters will play 6 opponents! Crazy!

Head over and vote for the game coming to your town! Which will you vote for? (We chose 2 balls!)

It means so much to get our family together to have a great time together. I love that we can all enjoy a Globetrotter game, it really is fun for all ages. This is  just one of the fun family events that we get together for in our area. During the summer months, we also love to visit our local zoo to see how the animals are doing. Or, sometimes we take the occasional day trip to farther places, like visiting elk country or oohing and ahhing over the cars at the annual Mopar show in the park.

Since the Harlem Globetrotters usually come to our area in early spring, attending a game means it’s just the start of a season of having fun together! Get your family in the game too! Go on over and vote at harlemglobetrotters.com, Save $7 per ticket* by using the promo code “TOGETHER”, then get ready for an evening full of laughter! Last year, we laughed so hard our cheeks hurt, now that’s fun!

We always say we’re going to go and then we always have something going on when they’re in town. I’m going to check the tour dates, see if they’re around here. Thanks for the reminder.
