HALO Safe Sleep Crib Set review #babygifts

When you bring your new littlest family member home, there are so many new things to remember! Keeping baby safe is always the number one priority. With HALO Innovations, we can rest assured that baby will be snug and safe in their crib! The HALO Safe Sleep crib set comes with everything we need to make baby’s sleeping place both beautiful and safe.

While we may want our baby’s nursery to have a plush look, all baby really needs is a fitted crib mattress and a wearable blanket to stay warm. Keeping crib decorations and extras at a minimum will ensure that baby will not get tangled. Leaving bumpers, toys and extra blankets out of the crib will remove possible strangulation and suffocation hazards.

With the American Academy of Pediatrics now saying “no” to crib bumpers, HALO Innovations has introduced its own Safe Sleep Crib SetTM designed to create an attractive and safe sleep environment for babies.

“Too often parents ‘overdress’ the crib with quilt and bumpers, both of which can pose a breathing threat for baby,” comments Bill Schmid, founder of Halo Innovations. “The Halo SleepSack and SleepSack Swaddle are the only things a baby needs in the crib to stay warm and sleeping safely, and the soft jersey sheet provides a snug fit on the mattress.

We received a Caroline’s Garden set for our soon to be granddaughter and couldn’t be more pleased with this adorable baby girl set. The snuggly 5-piece HALO Safe Sleep crib set comes complete with two soft cotton jersey fitted sheets, a beautiful crib skirt that stays safely underneath the mattress, a SleepSack wearable blanket and a SleepSack Swaddle. The SleepSack Swaddle and blanket are both made of 100% cotton. Everything in the set coordinates so nicely!

Safe Sleep halo crib set

We were pleasantly surprised by how soft the crib sheets feel, they are not scratchy or stiff at all. I cannot tell you how comfortable the whole set feels to the touch! The embroidery on both the Swaddle and the wearable blanket is just gorgeous! And, the designs are so cute! The set we received has a variety of different embroidered flowers in pretty shades of pink, purple, blue, white and brown. Some of the other sets have puppies, caterpillars and zoo animals!

There are a few really nice features on the SleepSack, like the inverted zipper for easier diaper changes and the super roomy foot area, for healthy hip development. The 2-in-1 Swaddle features two different ways to safely wrap baby, one with arms out and one with arms in, to suit baby’s preferences.
