This gift box is gorgeous! When I first opened it, I was truly surprised by how beautiful each individual box was. The quality of the exterior peaked my curiosity and excitement about what would be inside each pretty little package!
First off, let me say that I love olive oil, I use it it my cooking quite a bit and up until now, I had thought that most olive oil was basically the same. Wrong! The Nudo 100% extra virgin olive oil is amazing! It really does taste like it is fresh from the tree, very different from the store varieties that I’m used to — it actually tastes like olives and truly is “straight from the grove!” Mmm!
The handmade organic olive oil soap smells wonderful! The scent of lavender is both light and very fragrant at the same time. I haven’t had the chance to try it yet, knowing it is made with organic olive oil and honey with no added chemicals I am sure that it will make my skin feel pampered! I just love the calming scent of lavender and cannot wait to try it!
Last but certainly not least is probably my favorite treat in this Mamma Mia gift box — the chocolates. To be more precise — the handmade Italian olive oil chocolates, Oh my!
You may think that chocolates made with olive oil sounds strange but believe me, it is a match made in Heaven! There are three different flavors in this small box of a dozen: lemon, mandarin and chilli oil. Each one is unique and has its own subtle flavor. Eating these chocolate truffles is like eating a piece of chocolate silk – they melt in your mouth and are so smooth and creamy that I almost can’t describe them! I love them!
Surprisingly, the chilli oil is my favorite. I love the contrast between the smooth truffle and the tiny bit of heat that follows — so good!
