What better way to celebrate National Blueberry Month than with a hearty bowl of Better Oats mmm…Muffins Blueberry Instant Oatmeal!
It was a pleasant surprise to see that the flakes of this old fashioned style oatmeal were nice and large with a slightly toasted look, no flat boring little crumbs in this pouch!
The easy to store box design holds 5 pouches of oatmeal that each act as their own measuring cup. I love that I can measure my half a cup of water right in the pouch without getting out a measuring cup! Each 43g serving sized pouch has 160 calories (20 from fat) and 30 grams of whole grains.
Everyone loves waking up to a hot, fresh muffin for breakfast. mmmMuffins gives you that same delicious muffin taste you crave in a healthy and nutricious 100% whole grain oatmeal.

Oatmeal is one of my favorite ways to start the morning, a bowl of hot cereal is so filling, and it seems to last much longer than other breakfast foods. I’ve tried lots of different instant oatmeal and mmm…Muffins Blueberry Oatmeal is one of the yummiest ones yet!
The cooked oatmeal was soft yet had that deliciously chewy 100% whole wheat texture that I love. The real blueberries add just the right touch of natural sweetness.
My daughter was sitting with her back to me when I tore open the pouch, she turned around and said “What smells so good Mom? It smells like blueberries!” You know it’s got to be good when it smells great before even being cooked!
mmm…Muffins Blueberry Old Fashioned Instant Oatmeal doesn’t have an artificial after taste at all. It tastes like one big bowl of homemade happiness, which is awesome since it only took 2 minutes to cook!
My only complaint is that I wish they would have sent me more, lol! I’m curious to see what other flavors taste like now and will have to make a stop to Target the next time I’m in town to pick up a few boxes of the other 9 brands carried by Better Oats like the Oat Revolution Cinnamon Roll, RAW Pure & Simple Chai Spiced, and Lavish Dark Chocolate just to name a few.
