My View:

We’ve been using the PUR Flavor Options Pitcher I received for about a month now and I must say that we all have been drinking more water! It used to be a struggle to get Super Genius and the kids to drink enough water. Usually they would drink juice or sneak pop that Super G. kept buying. I tried the little packets you add to a glass or bottle of water, but didn’t really care for the caffeine and dyes they have. The PUR lemon & raspberry flavor cartridges I received have no caffeine or dyes! That makes me very happy. I was a bit skeptical about how they would taste but we’ve all enjoyed the light fruity flavors. The cartridge just sits in the well of the lid, when you press the button on the handle, flavor will drop into the spout of the well and dispense only with the water you pour for that glass.

At first we had some trouble trying to adjust the flavor to our preference. We would have too little or too much. After just a few days we learned how and when to press the button and now we’re old pros and it! What I really like is that you don’t have to use up one cartridge before trying another. You can store the open one in the fridge if you get tired of the same thing every day! That’s great in a house with different tastes. Also, the lid has a little light that alerts you when your filter is ready to be replaced. This is a wonderful reminder for busy moms who tend to forget things!

I have to confess that I am a bottled water addict, I know it’s horrible. I love the convenience though, especially for Jazzercise. Since we started using our pitcher we hardly ever drink bottled water at home! Believe me, that cuts down on a lot of plastic bottles. I’m working on remembering to take my own water to work out. I’ll get there! The kids have really taken to using the pitcher and even fill it up themselves without being asked! This is shocking to me because they have been known to leave drink cartons in the fridge with only a drop or two left, lol.

I think the PUR Flavor Options pitcher would make a thoughtful gift. It’s friendly to both the Earth and our wallets!
