I give up! I’ve spent the last 2 hours trying to get author comments to highlight on my blog. I managed to make all comments embedded (no more pop up window people!) AND get the little avatars to show up as well. YAY me!
BUT I cannot for the life of me get my own comments to be highlighted. ARGH! I tried 4 or 5 different sites with different directions, so now of course half my comment code is messed up. Who knows what’s supposed to be n there and what’s not at this point. At least everything is still working and not messed up looking , I hope 0_o
Anyway, I just need to let out a virtual scream and let it go. Maybe I’ll try again in a month or three…

I feel your frustration. I'm not very good at doing stuff to my site. I had someone customize it and now I am lost. I also cannot get Google to recognize my site w/o the "www." I have been trying hard but am also afraid to mess up my site. I hope you find a way to get your comments to highlight. I'm wishing you luck!
:) I feel your frustration! I went through the same thing w/ mine when I tried to get 3 columns and numbered comments – I have a second (tiny) blog that I use as my "guinea pig" blog, and it looks downright wonky some days :)

Yuck, HTML/design tasks give me anxiety attacks. :) I'm sure you'll get it to work exactly like you want it to.
