I may have shared this photo on the blog before, but it is one of my favorites, so here it is again! This is the perfect Throwback Thursday photo of my cousin and I! I’m fairly certain we were wearing our Gramma and Grampa’s coats, hats, earmuffs and gloves and just being plain silly. I have to have a giggle every time I see an old photo of us two with our giant plastic frame glasses — we were “so” cool, lol!
We made a lot of memories in Gramma’s kitchen, I think I even have one or two of those old molds from the wall behind us. Gramma always had her Polaroid camera ready to snap photos of us grandkids. I can remember the excitement of waiting for the picture to develop and Gramma reminding us “not to touch it.” It was something special when Gramma took a photo of you to add to her giant collection.
I wanted to share a photo of my cousin and I today because this week, she became a Gramma for the first time! Her son and his fiancee brought a beautiful little baby girl into the world – so now, we are Grammas together! Congratulations, I cannot wait to pinch that precious baby’s cheeks! =)
My parents have SO many old Polaroids of me, my sister & brother from when we were little. I love looking at people’s old photos :)
Congrats to your cousin. Grandbabies are awesome. :)
I remember the ‘don’t touch’ thing with the Polaroids. Do you remember the ones that you had to peel? LOL
Love the photo :) You and your cousin look like you are having so much fun.
Thanks Katy! We always have a good time when we get together :)
