Now I know that I’ve been bemoaning the cost of cell service lately but as you know, there are times when you just have to be connected. You know, those times where you can’t get a signal on your phone because you’re sitting deep in a school gym waiting on a game to start or sitting through another long practice wishing you could check your email or write a blog post? Yeah, you moms and dads know what I’m talking about! Now you carry around your own Mobile WiFi hotspot with NETGEAR’s AT&T Unite.
This handy little device (it’s about the size of your cellphone) can give your family super fast AT&T 4G LTE Internet speeds for fast data transfer, wherever you might find yourself.
For families on the go, having access to secure and reliable high-speed streaming saves time and keeps the kids entertained on long road trips, boring errands or while on vacation. You can even set up second WiFi network for one-time guest users.
And there’ll be no fighting over who gets to use the hotspot since the AT&T Unite can provide Wi-Fi connectivity for up to 10 of your family’s WiFi devices — that includes laptops, tablets, cameras, game consoles, music players and more. With the Unite’s built in battery, you’ll have up to 10 hours of life before your mobile hotspot needs to recharge.
No need to worry about security either as the Unite has the ability to block and unblock specific WiFi devices directly from the Unite’s large 2.4″ color touch screen. the on-screen monitor also makes it super simple to track data usage, check your billing cycle and change networks on the fly.
The AT&T Unite is a flexible way to keep yourself and your family connected. Learn more about NETGEAR’s AT&T Unite via @WiFiFamily on Twitter and WiFiFam on Facebook. Be sure to look for the #LifeConnected hashtag to see what everyone has to say about it!
That’s a great idea. I have Verizon so I have great reception around here. I actually switched from AT&T because they have lousy reception in Massachusetts. Maybe if their reception was a little better, people wouldn’t need this? Hmmmm…..
I used to hat a hotspot with Verizon that I used ALL THE TIME. Now I get it free with my Verizon plan through my phone, but I found that the hotspot can run more devices at once.
It’s a great thing to have for family trips and from a business perspective too.
This looks like it might be an alternative to lack of internet service at the house.
Nice that it has so many connections available on the plan to cover everyone in the family!
