Hang it up with Gecko Tech® Reusable Hooks™ from Duck Brand®

This post brought to you by Gecko Tech. All opinions are 100% mine.

Since we live in a fairly small space, we find ways to do without a lot of square footage. This often means finding the best way to utilize our wall space is key. In the past, I have recklessly resorted to using nails, screws, thumbtacks and even sewing pins (don't judge!) to hang things up on the walls. You can probably guess this means I have a ton of ugly holes that I need to fill. Not to mention all of the repainting we'll need to do afterwards. Ugh.

It was a no-brainer when I was offered the chance to try out these damage-free Gecko Tech® Reusable Hooks in our home.

And now, after testing out the new Gecko Tech Reusable Hooks from the Duck Brand®, I'm wishing I could go back in time and erase all of those unsightly holes in my walls!

What is so unique about these Gecko Tech® Reusable Hooks™ is that they can be reused over and over again and they cause absolutely no damage to your walls. They don't leave any sticky residue either and they work on tons of different surfaces like glass, laminate, stainless steel, tiles, painted walls, etc. The hooks use a new micro suction synthetic rubber technology to stick to any smooth nonporous surface and are the perfect way to get organized!

I gave my daughter dibs on the first hook and she chose the large hook to give her book bag its own storage space. The hook holds up to 5 pounds and it stuck to her closet door nicely. She was happy to free up a bit of her floor and get her bag out of the way.

I think these larger hooks would also be ideal storage solutions for a seasonal purse collections or hubby's baseball caps.

Next, I used a 4 pack of the small Gecko Tech® Reusable Hooks to store my dusting tools and dustpan in the laundry area. These hooks hold up to 1/2 pound each so they are great for small cleaning tools.

While I probably should have used a ruler to keep them straight, (wow, those are crooked!) the hooks were simple to apply to the wall and I can always take them down and straighten them up at a later time.

Last but certainly not least, I used a mix of two small 1/2 pound hooks and two of the 3 pound hooks to hold some gadgets in the kitchen. I have a few favorite tools that I use several times a day, I have always used thumbtacks and cup hooks to hang these miscellaneous items on my kitchen wall but I will be switching out for the Gecko Tech Reusable Hooks because I love that they leave no holes!

Cup hooks leave huge holes in the wall and really can't be re positioned the way that the Gecko Tech® hooks can be.

I can think of a bunch of other ways to use these hooks in other areas of our home, I plan to pick up a few more packs of each size to hang more items! Luckily, the Gecko Tech® products will be easy to find in Office Max and Meijer stores. Plus, I'll soon be able to shop for Gecko Tech® at my favorite online store, Amazon.

In the meantime, join me in following @TheDuckBrand® on Twitter where we can find creative inspiration for tons of fun projects and ideas on creative organization solutions using Gecko Tech® Reusable Hooks.

These are a great idea. We have some hooks on the back of our bathroom door to hang towels, but hooks to hang the kids backpacks is brilliant. It would get them off of the floor and we wouldn’t trip over them so much LOL.

I need these! I rent, so I don’t want to put too many wholes in my walls. Plus, I really need a place to hang a dry erase board near my computer, and the walls are all wood or tile (office space is in the kitchen). These would be perfect!

    I’m intrigued by these.

I used another brand’s “damage-free” hooks and um…they ripped the paint off my wall LOL.

I have so many uses for these types of hooks, I’ll keep an eye out for this brand!

You came up with some great ways to use the hooks. I could use these in my daughter’s closet. I like that they don’t do damage to the wall.

My husband is so lazy about hanging things. I need to get some of these and do it myself.

I use these to hang a curtain of fairy lights over my french doors at Christmas time! Fabulous invention :)
