Vicks DayQuil & NyQuil offer mom multi-symptom relief #spon

I have been putting off writing this post because I know as soon as I say the words “I haven’t been sick much this year.” — I’ll get sick. Or, someone in my family will get sick.

Luckily, I know how to feel better if I do happen to come down with something (and in this crazy weather, it’s a good possibility). I have relied on Vicks NyQuil on many occasions — when I am so stuffed up that I can’t sleep, it’s nice to know there’s a medication that can help this mom get some much needed rest.

DayQuil NyQuil

While I try to take my daily muti-vitamins, eat fairly healthy and take care of myself, there are bound to be times when I catch the bug that always seems to be floating around when kids are in the house. As the number one pharmacist recommended brand for adult cough, cold and flu relief, I trust Vicks DayQuil to get me through the most miserable days and Vicks NyQuil to give me the relief I need to rest and heal. There have been times when I have been so sick that I’ve asked my poor husband to run to the store late at night just to pick up a bottle of NyQuil so I could sleep. I’m fortunate enough to have a guy who will drive 15 miles one way just to grab a bottle of medication for his sick wife! I try to keep both DayQuil and NyQuil on hand for emergencies, so he doesn’t have to make that trip.

Vicks helps me function when I’m sick!

Vicks DayQuil is great because it doesn’t give me a jittery feeling that other cold and flu medications often do. That means I can stay on my feet to take care of household chores and errands while safely using medicine to help me feel better. The non-drowsy formula lets me still be mom. And, even though I always have to do the hold my breath and gulp it down when I take the liquid form of NyQuil, it always, without fail, helps me feel better.

DayQuil and NyQuil both have powerful ingredients for mutli-symptom relief, such as Acetaminophen to take care of the aches and fever associated with colds and the flu, and Dextromethorphan HBr for effective cough suppression. Also, the Doxylamine Succinate in NyQuil helps stop sneezing and runny noses for a more peaceful night, while the Phenylephrine HCl in DayQuil relieves nasal congestion for a clearer day. Both medications work just as they say they will and are a wonderful tool to help moms like me feel well enough to function until they’re 100% themselves.
