Find stress relief for dogs from Comfort Zone® with D.A.P.®

This post brought to you by Comfort Zone® products. All opinions are 100% mine.

When I heard about the Comfort Zone® products for dogs, I knew that my sister might be interested in trying one of their diffusers for her three pups. They aren’t particularly “bad” dogs but they are a challenge for her sometimes! Please welcome her (and the pups) in this guest review!

Gizmo

Meet the boys: Mr. Medium, Mr. Small, & Mr. Extra Tiny (Shadow, Bingo & Gizmo, respectively) They’re special. Not necessarily in the way your dogs are special. All 3 are rescue pets, each coming originally from situations that were less than ideal for them. So, they have some extra special behavioral & emotional issues.

They follow me around, continuously. They bark. Gizmo whines (a lot). The 2 little ones try to out-pee each other all over my house. They really are not friends. We’ve tried a fairly decent number of products ~ calming shampoos, stress tablets, sprays that discourage marking. Not a lot of effect.

Bingo

On top of the usual issues, we’re moving. People in & out, being left alone for (relatively) long stretches of time, & pieces of their usual environment disappearing puts even more stress on the dogs. So it was a pretty good time for us to try the Comfort Zone® with D.A.P.® diffuser.

I honestly wasn’t expecting a great deal from this product. Maybe the boys would be a little calmer after a few days, something like that. But ~ HOLY SMOKES, Ya’ll! Within 24 hours of plugging in the Comfort Zone® with D.A.P.® diffuser, they had stopped following me from room to room.

It’s been 12 years since I’ve been able to walk through my house without tripping over a dog. And they played together. That never happens. Neh-ver. They tumbled around on the floor like puppies. Even Shadow joined in, & he’s 12 years old. It is absolutely amazing.

Marking behavior is slightly improved. I’ve only had the Comfort Zone® with D.A.P.® diffuser plugged in for about a week, & maximum effectiveness is 30 days. I’ve only found three puddles this week, each one in a room other than the living room (where the diffuser is located) & each made at a time when no one was home for several hours at a time. That is a slight improvement, & it’s better than any of the other methods I’ve tried.

I’m honestly impressed with this product, & will continue to use it for the boys. Learn more about Comfort Zone® products on Facebook (psst, they have a coupon!) and find them at pet specialty stores including PetSmart and Petco, independent pet stores and online. I believe this product is well worth getting.

    Oh, what beautiful dogs!

We don’t have a dog anymore, but several members of my family do, so I will definitley have to tell them about this!

We have been using the Comfort Zone for cats and it works well. My elderly cat has been scratching on furniture for about 3 years now and it has lessened his urge. Cute puppies!

I should show this to my hubby, he’s alweays looking for new things for our doggies. He’s tired of shampooing the carpet at least once a week. =\
    Thanks for the info.

Alright, this is exactly what I needed to know. We have two Cairn Terriers, one barks constantly (she’s the newest dog) and one is chill. I have tried many products and behavioral modification ‘tools’ and nothing seems to calm my dog, Lucy. Nothing has prevented her from having her ‘accidents’ either. I’ll give this a try! Thanks!

We have been using CZ for our cats, I didn’t know it worked for dogs too. When we brought a new cat into the house it really increased the stress of our older cat and the younger one became aggressive with her. The vet suggested CZ and while we were skeptical too we tried — it’s pretty expensive but we swear by it now. Like your sister, withing about a week we noticed a remarkable difference.
