Growing up, my Mom and Dad always tried to stress to me the importance of sharing. They had their work cut out for them — being an only child, it was often a hard lesson to swallow. Now that I am a mother, I know how very much I want my own children to share with others and to be considerate to those around them. There are many times when I have to step back and remember to be an example to them, as I remember the lessons my parents taught to me.
