The kids went back to school Tuesday. I am still in denial that T is in his senior year and Pie is starting middle school! Where in the world did the years go? It was an early, foggy morning and my photos are blurry and badly lit because I didn’t take the time to fiddle. Oh well, we will still treasure them years from now!
I know, I know, my kids have an awesome sense of style :) they’re breaking all the fashion rules — stripes, checks, pinks with reds, flying pigs and even some plaid. I love it!

Awww. My girls will be in gr 3 and gr 7 this year! Actually my daughter going into gr 7 is rather similar to your daughter! :)
ugh..just realized that smilie is totally creepy looking..i meant to use just a ‘nice looking smilie’!!
I turned off those “creepy” smilies just for you :). No really, I’ve been meaning to get rid of them anyways so thanks for the nudge!
They grow up too fast!
I love that your kids celebrate their uniqueness!
Seeing your babies grow up has got to be the single hardest part of motherhood! I have one in high school, two in middle school and one in kindergarten…it seems impossible.
Goodness! I am sure it seems like they were in kindergarten yesterday!
It’s that time again! Love your daughter’s shirt!
Senior! Oh my gosh. I love that he still took a photo with the little sign…and their sense of style is very teenager-ish, in my opinion. :) (I like it)
I love your daughter’s one pink lace! Hope they have a great year :)
I love their style!
Your kids are both beautiful!
I love the idea of holding the signs. The kids look great!
My son started 6th grade too!
They grow up too faast!
Aww, I love their fashion style! Jake just started his sophomore year, but they have a strict dress code.
Those are great pictures Henrietta. Your son and my oldest must be the same age. He is a senior this year! I’m a little unnerved by it.
I’ll be unnerved with you… I can’t grasp that he will be out of school in the spring!
They look so thrilled to be holding up those pieces of paper. lol.
They do have great style! Love that your son still went along with holding a sign even though he’s a senior.
i love your kids! they are so cool.
They have some very unique style! Glad they aren’t afraid to show it!
I love their style!
As long as they love their style who cares what anyone else thinks :) But your kids already know that!
Time does fly doesn’t it? I have two in college now, which seems impossible.
I love that they have their own sense of style, I think others should follow in their footsteps!
Looking good!! It’s amazing how fat they grow up!
Great shots.
I played too. Mine are here and here.
Aww, what a memorable day! I hope their school year starts off great and stays that way :)
