My daughter took this pretty photograph of a chive blossom. I think it’s just beautiful! I love the softness of it.
I snapped a quick picture of this tree in our yard. Our landlord let us hang a rope swing {or two} in it several years ago. It’s been lonely over the winter but I know this summer when I’m looking for Pie, she’ll be out there swinging and gazing up at the sky through the branches.
And, here are my poor raised beds waiting to be planted! Hopefully I get my seedlings into their beds before the weekend and then I’ll share some photos of nice pretty gardens instead of weedy ones! I can’t wait for fresh tomatoes, yum!
Happy Wordless Wednesday! {well, almost}
Wow – she’s super talented with that camera – what a beautiful picture! And swinging is always fun :)
Gorgeous shots! &That tree is huge!
These are so pretty! And educational: I had NO IDEA that chive blossoms were purple. : )
That chive blossom is beautiful! I didn’t even know they had blossoms like that. I love the color.
Love that first picture!
We just cleaned out our raised beds. oh what a task that was!
That is about how my raised beds look too!
I love that flower picture. It is very pretty!
She did an awesome job – it is beautiful!
She did a wonderful job!
Kids can sometimes take the best pictures! Such a beautiful photo!
I don’t know that I’ve ever seen a chive blossom before! Super neat photo – and the tree with the rope swings looks so peaceful and relaxing!
You have a photographer there! She has a good eye… I’m very impressed!
Love that first picure – so pretty!

What great pictures. Your daughter did a wonderful job! I anxiously await the “new” garden pictures. I know you will have lots of tomatoes :).
These are some gorgeous shots!
Wow! That first picture is gorgeous. Thanks for sharing Henrietta!
those are some nice photos, you could frame the one your daughter took.
I love the pic your daughter took! I need to work on my garden as well. Maybe tomorrow.
My garden is calling me too lol
So beautiful! I would have no idea that is a chive blossom. I learned something new today:)
That first photo is wonderful. I hope you frame it!
I had no idea chives had such beautiful flowers!
That’s what a flower from a chive plant looks like? That’s so pretty! Wow, that’s the difference between where we live – there’s no way we could rent a property like yours! Just a small two-bedroom apartment in our area is some $1800-$2000 and NONE of them with yards like that!
Just for comparison, here’s a photo of a chive blossom that isn’t so close: http://ahensnest.com/2011/06/chive-blossoms.html, they really are beautiful!
Also, WOW that is a lot of money for a rental and I am grateful that we pay nowhere near that amount!
Wow ~ Had no idea Chive Blossoms were so beautiful!! That’s a great capture!
Love the chive flower! she took a very nice picture of it!!
That flower is AMAZING!

I love the photo your daughter took – it’s amazingly beautiful. In an achy-sort of way, if that makes sense. Good luck with the garden :)
