My 16 year old son has been sporting facial hair for several years now. He first tried to rid himself of this teenage nemesis with a regular disposable razor and shaving cream but alas he has been cursed with his father’s coarse facial hair and it didn’t work out well.
When he recently received the Philips Norelco PowerTouch with Aquatec to review, he was excited to try it out. Within minutes he had a smooth face and neck. He used it the first time without even looking in the mirror, I’m not sure but I think that must take some skill.
What’s great about the PowerTouch with Aquatec is that it can be used either dry or, if you would like a little extra skin protection, you can shave wet using shaving gel or cream. This is awesome and a feature that sounds really cool.
The cordless razor is very light in the hand and has a comfortable rubber grip with ridges for a non-slip hold. The fully charged razor will give you 50 minutes of have time and charges fully in one hour. You can do a quick-charge in 3 minutes if you’re in desperate need of a quick shave.
Besides the dual precision heads, that are great at removing both long hairs and short stubble, the razor also has a nice pop up trimmer to even out sideburns and other areas.
All in all, I think this is a great gadget that would be perfect for your son, it would even make a wonderful Father’s Day gift for your hubby. I know my hubby was all like, is that mine? when it arrived for my son to review and was a bit disappointed when he learned who it was for! Sorry hun!
