I’m Powered Up from Five Days of @belVita Breakfast Biscuits #review

belVita LogoBreakfast! It’s the first meal of the day and one that you shouldn’t skip over if you want to keep up your energy throughout the morning. I recently participated in the Five Days of belVita Breakfast Challenge to see how the new belVita Breakfast Biscuits would fit into my morning routine. Nabisco’s belVita Breakfast Biscuits were created to provide long lasting energy for moms like me to munch on during those busy mornings. 

About belVita: A combination of specially selected ingredients and a carefully controlled baking process helps preserve the integrity of the grain. Each individual package of four crunchy belVita biscuits is portioned for part of a balanced breakfast. One 50 gram serving contains 18-20 grams of whole grain carbohydrates, 3 grams of dietary fiber, 3-4 grams of protein, and a good source of four B vitamins and iron. belVita Breakfast contains no high fructose corn syrup, no partially hydrogenated oils, and no artificial flavors or sweeteners.

I am always looking out for ways to make breakfast delicious. Eating belVita as part of a balanced meal each morning during this challenge has been a pleasure, the biscuits are so good and I really enjoy the crunchiness! belVita Breakfast Biscuits are available in three yummy flavors:

Golden Oat     ~     Blueberry     ~     Apple Cinnamon

All three flavors are good but my favorite is the blueberry, they are both crunchy and chewy at the same time and just very tasty! Here are just a few of my favorite ways to enjoy belVita Breakfast Biscuits!

Blueberry biscuits are so good as-is. I like to dunk them into a hot cup of coffee and balance them out with a piece of fruit like a banana or an orange.

This is probably my favorite way to enjoy the Apple Cinnamon breakfast biscuit! I peel, core, and chop up one apple. Sprinkle it with a bit of cinnamon and drizzle with a teaspoon of honey and pop it into the microwave for 2 minutes, until the apple is just tender. Then, crumble one package of the Apple Cinnamon {oat works too} over top of the apple and enjoy! It tastes so good, like I’m eating apple cobbler for breakfast! yum!

All three flavors are perfect accompaniments to a dish of yogurt. Here I tried raspberry yogurt and Golden Oat biscuits together, amazing!

 Blueberry again! They’re just tasty! I like to eat them all by their lonesome! They are especially good when paired with a 100% juice drink for a real burst of morning energy.

And, my second favorite belVita treat? I saw several other bloggers enjoying belVita this way so had to try it myself! The Golden Oat biscuits spread with about a tablespoon of creamy peanut butter and topped with a few slices of banana! Yum, they are really good this way.

So I was never bored at all eating belVita every morning during this challenge! I love that belVita is easy to eat and easy to carry. There were a couple of days where I just grabbed a pack of biscuits as I head out the door to take my daughter to school. They’re so easy to eat while I’m on the run, and a great excuse to NOT skip breakfast when I’m in a hurry! I think it’s also nice to change breakfast up once in awhile and these have been a good break from my usual bland breakfast cereal! I did let the kids try some breakfast biscuits and they enjoyed them. My teen son says they are “too addictive”, I might have to agree with him there!

    I just bought three flavors because they had sample day at Walmart with coupons. The blueberry is amazing and the apple cinnamon is fav in a parfait. I wish they would get rid of the few junk ingredients which are main ingredients

    I keep hearing great things about these – but I have not tried them yet. I am gonna add them to my list NOW so I dont forget again! HA!

    Wow you took some great pictures. Um I didn’t take pics. Mine all came broken. Still totally yummy, though! I loved the blueberry the best!

    The blueberry were my favorite too! These are perfect to have on hand for traveling. When we fly I’m always hungry and keeping these in my bag will help curb those ‘munchies’ hopefully so I won’t by junk food in the food court!

    I love belVita. It’s a great way to get fiber. Have you tried the new chocolate flavor? OMG! Amazing.

    I just picked up four more boxes at Wegmans where there was a 75 cent off coupon, for two goes, right on the counter, AND Wegmans doubled it!

    I’ve got to try with peanut butter. Great suggestion.

    I love Belvita so far my favorite is the Blueberry just bought the Chocolate ones but have not tried them yet!! Just bought 3 boxes using the coupons. Looking for more of the dollar off coupons that I was able to print on line but can not find them again! But awesome good tasting product love them and so does my husband!!

    I absolutely love the blueberry flavor. I would love it if they come out with a strawberry or cherry flavor.
