As the kids get older, it can be harder and harder to find gifts for them, especially ones that will be used, enjoyed and not stuffed into a corner somewhere. My picky teen is super hard to please so when I had the chance to review the GO MP3 player headphones — I said, Send them over!
The new Go MP3 Player Headphones from JLab are waterproof, sweatproof and perfect for the athlete, teen or busy mom in your life.

When I received the GO, I was a tiny bit skeptical when I removed it from the small box it came packed in. The headphones seemed so light and the “manual” was a small thin sheet of paper. As I took a closer look, I noticed that the headphones, though very light and flexible, were well made. The pieces and joints were all tight and the features started to stand out.

I like that the ear pieces are somewhat adjustable. They can slide along the rod they’re attached to and rotate up and down / side to side, to allow for a more custom fit. The ear pieces that I tried fit comfortably in my ear.
It did take me a few minutes to figure out where the USB port was, I just didn’t see it at first! The USB port cover is a tiny knob that you turn to remove. An important thing to note is that you have to really make sure that the port cover is on correctly to get the waterproof seal. It isn’t hard, just something you want to take extra care doing so your GO won’t be damaged.
After I figured out where the USB port was, the rest was easy. The GO allows for a simple drag and drop style of adding your MP3 files to the player. I successfully used Windows Media Player to sync some tunes so I could test out the sound. I put in the earphones and pressed the large button on my earpiece. Nothing! I pressed again…. I took them off and pressed it again… Silence. I gave in and read the instructions. AHA! The power button needs to be pressed and held for 4 seconds to turn on. Whew!
Once I had volume, I turned it up and listened to quite a few different songs just to see how the player handled them. Overall I am very impressed. The GO is a super lightweight and great sounding player. I have yet to try any of the other 7 silicone ear pieces since the first pair I tried out suits my current needs. It is nice to know I have them available though. I like this GO so much that I’m not sure if my teen will be getting it or not. I really like being able to walk around the house with no wires or handheld devices getting in my way! The headphones completely block out all other noise so it’s great for when I want to work on the computer but someone else is blaring the television. Pop in my GO and I can’t hear them anymore! Plus with room to store 400 or more songs, I’ll never get bored!
Anyway, I love them! You can find the GO MP3 Headphones on Amazon right now for $59.95.
