That's a beautiful chicken! I was going to get chickens if we stayed in Florida
Rusty for sure. We could always have Maury do a DNA check!
Haha I laughed out loud, the rooster DNA results are in, Maury!
What a good mama!
You have beautiful chickens!! We just always had the ugly white ones. Hope all the eggs hatch :)
Great pictures. The roosters almost look like mugshots, in this context.
Too cute! I grew up with chickens. I still think they are the neatest creatures!
She is beautiful! Yay for little chickens!!!
I thought chickens were white LOL
She's kinda cute.
My kids would love to have baby chicks running around.
Great photo! Does she not eat while she sits? (Can you tell I know nothing about this?) I'm excited to see the chicks.
So… Will the babies look more like one than the other or are they gonna do a DNA test? ROFL… Okay, I know it was corny, but I couldn't resist. LOL
nice capture! but I dont think I will be much of help in determining the father. DNA test? hehehe
u may view mine here
Great photos! I can't wait to see the babies!
Keep us updated… so adorable, I love baby chicks.
Lol ya'll are funny, you got my Maury reference though didn't a ;)
@Petula- This mama does eat when she sits, she gets up for about 15 minutes or so each day to stretch and eat/drink, We have had ones in the past though that don't even want to do that so we have to go out and hand feed/water them each day!
@Kim – We have 3 white ones too but chickens come in all shapes and sizes! That's what makes them so fun :)
Honestly we'll never know who the daddy is, it's fun to guess though!
What a gorgeous picture of that hen! I can't believe you got that close for a picture. Granddads hens always tried to pluck our eyes out if we got that close. LOL. Dropping by from MomDot for WW, albeit late.

You're too funny! I guess time will tell, or maybe not. ;) I can't wait when we can have egg laying hens. Our meat chickens will be here within a couple weeks so we'll be busy fattening up here soon. :)
