EcoStore USA Plant Based Dishwash Liquid review

EcoStore USAIn celebration of Earth Day, April 22nd, I’ll be sharing some eco-friendly tips and products with you this month.  EcoStore USA is a company that is committed to eliminating the hazardous toxins and chemicals that are in common household products. By using natural, plant and mineral based ingredients from sustainable resources they offer safer alternatives that are healthier for you and your family.

Along with the Hypoallergenic Pet Shampoo I reviewed last week, I also received a bottle of EcoStore USA’s Plant Based Dishwash Liquid. Dishes are never ending here so I knew it wouldn’t go to waste!

Gentle on your skin yet effective on your dishware the Ecostore USA Dish Liquid has great grease cutting power and leaves a light, fresh fragrance. Free of any synthetic chemicals, your family and the planet will appreciate it! (17 fluid ounces)

Easter cleanup was the perfect time to break out the bottle!  I did several sink fulls of dishes in a row with one healthy squirt of soap.  The formula is ultra concentrated so you only need about 1/2 a Tablespoon. There is a very faint scent  of citrus when you first open the bottle. It was kind of nice to not be hit over the head with a strong scent for once. I like that it was just a nice clean smell. I was impressed with how  well it powered through the hours old Easter egg dye left on the inside of my coffee cups. It had no problem with the remains of Italian dressing and olive oil from the pasta salad or the baked on blobs of carrot cupcake batter on my muffin tins.

EcoStore USA Dishwash Liquid Review

I love that there are “No Nasty Chemicals” to soak into my hands while I’m washing. I don’t even know what’s in my usual dish soap because there’s no ingredient list on the back! The Dishwash Liquid from EcoStore’s ingredients are palm and coconut based ionic, non-ionic and anionic surfactants, mineral hydroxide and natural citrus oil. My skin is a bit sensitive and the dish soap wasn’t drying or irritating at all. I think the perfumes in regular soap dry my hands so I ‘m not missing them here! I was happy with the amount of suds and with the fact that my hands and dishes didn’t feel greasy while I was washing. At $8.50 for a 17 fluid ounce bottle (about 60 washes), I think the price is good and on the same level as regular dish soap.
