Show how birds are surviving in your neighborhood this winter with a photo, artwork, video, story or poem describing how birds are finding the food, water, and shelter they need. All ages, skill levels, groups and individuals are welcome to enter. Prizes include Eagle Optics binoculars, bird feeders, birdsong calendar, books, posters, cards and more.
To Enter:
- Email entries to urbanbirds@cornell.edu. If you submit a video, post it on YouTube and send them the link.
- Write “Survival_yourfirstname yourlastname yourstate” in the subject line.
- Include your name and mailing address in your email
- Explain why you submitted your entry—describe your winter conditions and what you observe the birds doing during winter.
- One entry per person.
- Entries must be received by February 15, 2010
