Snow Day!

We woke up to a winter wonderland this morning! After a few days of 60mph wind gusts at least it’s not howling out there anymore! The kids are having a snow day! I love long weekends and I’m still in my pj’s!

Super Genius made it to town and back in one piece and a little bit snow covered :)

Roast & potatoes are in the crock pot for a warming supper later. Yum! It took some doing but I finally convinced Pie that playing outside in 10 degree weather would never be as fun as putting together a puzzle! She’s not too thrilled with me but she’ll get over it. I found Mr.T. sleeping curled up on his floor this morning over the heat register, lol, that boy is crazy! He’s happily playing Xbox 360 now.

Keep waarm today!

Very cool! I remember my days of living in Upstate NY. Although I don't like the cold or snow too much to see it upon waking and hear the quiet of the air. With the snow undisturbed is wonderful. I loved snow days where we could stay in and relax, play or nap. Very cool.

I guess I should complain that it was 21 degrees here this morning. I just think that's unnatural for Georgia. :)

You stay warm too! Hopefully the temp will raise enough so she can go outside and play for a bit.

What fun! I grew up in NE PA…so though we didn't get the lake snow, we still had "real" winters. We're still in PA, but it's pretty mild here. :)
