My View
I think Relish! is a great service for those who have a busy life, from soccer moms, to working moms, we all need a break from the daily task of dinner planning. I know I sometimes end up staring into the fridge or cupboard just wondering what to make. It’s so easy to draw a blank when your mind is on other things and you’re running around doing so much for everyone! I like that on Relish! I can just get on, pick from the meals listed and print my shopping list. It’s very quick and also nice to have the sides included with the main dish.
I really like that each weekly menu has a mix of dishes. So many of them are versatile enough to use for either company or just the family! I like getting my kids to try something new, many of the dishes are unique, but not too different to be accepted by my picky eaters. Something else that I loved was that you can submit your own meals to the site. They’ll be approved and added to a list that you can also choose from when you’re making out your menus! Very cool! It’s also great that you can adjust serving sizes from 2 – 8 people!
If you’d like something different than what’s on the menu for the week you can look through other sections on the site including freezer foods, seasonal dishes, tailgate party, horsdoeuvres, healthy lunches, this and that and past menus! The This and That section features great meal ideas for dinner parties, gourmet potlucks, holidays, theme movie nights and more!
I think that Relish! would make a great gift for the busy people in your life. It’s epecially useful during the hectic holiday season!
