We had a great family night out on Tuesday! We went and saw The Harlem Globetrotters at Tullio Arena!
This is the second time we’ve gone to see them and it was still funny. Last year we had awesome seats right up front but for some reason the seating chart was NOT right on . . . → Read More: {almost} Wordless Wednesday – Harlem Globetrotters at Tullio Arena

I’ve always loved this photo of my mom sitting on the couch cuddling with her grandchildren. Can you believe this was eleven years ago? Also, I never noticed it before but both of my silly kids have the same look on their face!
If I’ve shared this photo before, I’m sorry — too lazy to sort through old posts to see Happy . . . → Read More: {almost} Wordless Wednesday – Cuddling with Grandma

We had quite the week. I had to remind myself several times to take pictures and somehow Thursday blew right by without my brain remembering to take a single one. No pictures on either one of my cameras, none on Pie’s, none on Mr.T’s none any any of the phones… sigh. I have officially failed and the first month of the year isn’t . . . → Read More: #Project365 (366) – week number four

I have had a fairly uneventful week which means have absolutely no good photos to share for WW! As I was aimlessly searching, I ran across a baby pic of me. I was a chubby baby.
And let’s face it, a kind of an ugly baby. My mom says to blame it on my dad and chocolate pudding… Umm, I don’t think . . . → Read More: {almost} Wordless Wednesday – slightly plump baby

How was your week? Busy yet uneventful here. I’m still having fun with my project365 (366) and have decided that since I am no photographer, I will just wing it when it comes to making sure I get that needed daily image.
Also, I have decided to change how I number the photos and instead of numbering 1-7 for the week, . . . → Read More: #Project365 (366) – week number three

I think I’ve got two pretty handsome looking men here, what do you think? Super G. is the best, he has always taken care of my flock for me when the weather gets nasty. Last weekend he brought one of the roos up to the house so I could check him out.
Wow! Can you believe how big this . . . → Read More: {almost} Wordless Wednesday – a couple of handsome guys #ww

Project 365 (or 366, I’m still trying to decide what I’m supposed to be calling it!) is going well so far! I can’t believe I am actually remembering to take photos! In fact I keep taking more than one and then have a hard time choosing which to use.
My phone’s camera and the Instagram app have been fun to play . . . → Read More: #Project365 (366) – week number two

I have to be just a tiny bit wordy this week! Last week as I was hopping around to check out everyone’s WW post, I had to stop and smile at Alison‘s in particular. Her photo of her son wearing her Ugg boots just reminded me so much of my kids when they were little! I had to dig . . . → Read More: {almost?} Wordless Wednesday – too big boots

I have been wanting to do project365 for quite some time now. Well, this is the year! Every Single Day of this year I am vowing to take a photo of something in my life. I will say right now that there is no way that every photo is going to be great. In fact, most of them will probably be . . . → Read More: #Project365 – week number one

You know you’ve got a good one
when your hubby tromps out to the chicken coop
in a snow squall to stomp out an area
for your chickens to walk around in.
That’s love

Last week, we attended our daughter’s very first group band performance! The Winter Concert featured her fifth grade chorus and band members. They played several short sets — and sounded really good for only having a few practice sessions under their belts! They finished up the hour long event with some wonderful holiday songs. “There’s No School Tomorrow” was a crowd favorite .
