Fun Finds // Upcycling with glass DIY project ideas

We always seem to have a ton of glass bottles around here! From wine bottles to sauce bottles , light bulbs and empty candle jars – what in the world can you do with them instead of just tossing them into the trash?

This Upcycling With Glass Infographic from Terrys Fabrics is a great starting point for recycling glass bottles from unwanted garbage into useful, functional and gorgeous home decor. I just had to share these DIY upcycling with glass project ideas with you, which one would you try first? My teen daughter would absolutely LOVE the DIY fairy lamps for her bedroom and I think the hanging glass chandelier out of bottles is just gorgeous. Go on, get your craft on!

Those are all some pretty cool ideas. We always have tons of glass bottles that we usually just throw in the recycling bin, but I might have to try one of those.

There are some really great ideas here. I bet this would be fun to do w/my daughter. She’s 15 now and STILL loves to craft. I’m glad for that too. :)

I love to upcycle. I have a couple of bottles I’m going to convert to salad dressing holders. I like what they did with light bulbs but I don’t see how some of them would work considering how fragile bulbs are. I like the ideas though. Some of those were amazing.
