Share a smile to help kids! #SmilingItForward

compconvo-disclosure

Even though my children are getting older, I still dread it when they get sick. Seeing that “I don’t feel good” look in my daughter’s eyes is the worst! We’ve used TYLENOL® for both of our children, from infant to adult in my son’s case — it’s the brand we trust the most, to get the whole family feeling better in no time.

As a mom, I can count on TYLENOL® to bring back my daughter’s smile time and time again. That smile just means the world to me! When I hear her giggle and see those eyes light up, I know everything is back to normal and we can go back to worrying about the important things in her teen life — like practicing for her next drama club performance or catching up on her favorite TV show.

TYLENOL® brand’s newest campaign encourages us moms to share our smiles for a great cause — SMILING IT FORWARD™.

Tylenol Smiling It Forward

Now through mid-January, everyone can go online at www.SmilingItForward.com to upload their favorite smiles. For each smile shared, TYLENOL® will donate $1 to Children’s Health Fund (up to $100,000). This wonderful network works to bring much needed health care to the 85,000 low-income children who live in the rural and urban areas of our United States.

My husband and I know how hard it is to not be able to afford health care for your family. Being able to do something to help other families in this situation — even as small as sharing my daughter’s smile — really brings a smile to my face as well.

How I Met Your Mother actress, Alyson Hannigan, also relies on TYLENOL® to keep her two young daughters happy and healthy. She has the luxury of having her children’s doctor just a phone call away — so many families don’t have it that easy. Alyson has joined with TYLENOL® as a mom ambassador to help get the word out about the SMILING IT FORWARD™ campaign. Alyson says “Being a mom has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. And being the first mom of many to participate in SMILING IT FORWARD™ warms my heart because it will help other children receive high-quality medical care like my daughters do.”

Children’s Health Fund was created by singer/songwriter Paul Simon and pediatrician/advocate Dr. Irwin Redlener over 25 years ago. Today, the program has a fleet of 50 mobile medical clinics that serve dozens of communities and locations across the country — from schools to homeless shelters. The program provides high-quality health care to sick children and health care education to the general public — to promote the health and well-being of all children.

I hope you will visit www.SmilingItForward.com today and share your smile to help a child! I shared my daughter’s beautiful smile!

I hate, hate, hate when my kids are sick. Although, I have to say, they are both super snuggly when they’re sick, so that is ok by me (I’ll take it how I can get it).
