{almost} Wordless Wednesday – Halloween Costume of Old #ww

Halloween is tomorrow and this is the first year that I won’t be walking around with the kids! Tom is a college student these days so no trick-or-treating for him :). Pie wasn’t planning to go until a friend asked her so she’ll be walking around with her parents. They are sure growing up! So…. I dug out the only photo I have of myself in a Halloween costume. This is my 1984 Little Red Riding Hood costume that my mom and Gramma made for me, I remember how much I loved it and how the older neighbor kid dressed up as the big bad wolf and scared the crap out of me all night at the Church haunted house — good times! Hope you have a great Wednesday!

p.s. I had to carry that huge basket of fake food and loaf of bread around with me all night! Thanks Mom!

Awww, look how cute you were. I’ve seen a few ppl post their childhood costume pictures over the past week and I totally should have gone to my mother’s house and dug out me sporting my Wonder Woman costume back in the day. Maybe next year.

AW that was a great costume!! That’s the bad thing about props, having to carry them everywhere with you.

It is so fun to look back at old pictures and reminisce. Your mom and grandma did a great job making your costume.

You know, I was looking at your header before the post loaded and thinking the same thing – “Look how much her kids have grown up!” Time sure flies and I know your mom must think the same thing when she looks at your Little Red Riding Hood photo. Which is adorbs, by the way!!

I love it! I was Little Red Ridding Hood for Halloween one year. Then a few years later we dyed the cape black so I could be a witch.

Wowzers, that’s quite the basket you had to lug around! I enjoy looking at costumes of today and yesteryear.
