Quaker has been busy creating a whole bunch of new products this year and I was lucky enough to receive a box of goodies to review! We have always loved Quaker products, a quick bowl of hot Quaker Oatmeal is a favorite breakfast during the school months. Now, we will have even more nutritious options with these seven delicious products. I know everyone likes them because when I went to get the box to take photos, the snacks you see sitting on the counter were the only ones left!

The family was kind enough to leave me a bunch of empty boxes though :)

Quaker new products 2012

I am a cold cereal fanatic so I will be changing up breakfast with one of two new cold cereals — Quaker Whole Hearts and Quaker  Oatmeal Squares Honey Nut. Both of these cereals have a great flavor that is slightly sweet with the great taste of whole-grain. I like the Whole Hearts best, it trumps my other usual round cereal and tastes really good with fresh peaches or berries.

For a hot cereal option, the kids enjoyed Chocolate Chip Instant Quaker Oatmeal. This new oatmeal flavor has a nice taste, the little bursts of chocolate go so nicely with the whole-grain oatmeal!

Quaker has also won us over with their new snacks! All four of the ones that we received are very tasty. Guess what? Quaker has finally {after only 130 years} made its own Soft Baked Oatmeal Cookies! The Quaker cookies were the first snack that I tore open sampled. They are soft, chewy and everything that an oatmeal cookie should be! I was very happy that the Quaker cookies were not overly sweet, I can really taste the while grain goodness! There are NINE other varieties of Quaker cookies to try and I cannot wait to find them in store!

We also really enjoyed the Strawberry Quaker Yogurt Granola Bars, Banana Nut Bread Quaker Soft Baked Bars and the Strawberry Quaker Stila Bars that we received. The kids really liked that they could heat the Banana Nut Bread bars up in the microwave for twenty second to have a hot snack. They taste really delicious and the topping is great!

I was surprised that one of my favorites was the Strawberry Stila Bar. It’s almost like a grown up toaster snack with its crunchy oatmeal topped exterior and sweet fruit filling.
