Nickelodeon’s Floam and Gak attack! #review

Floam Gak

Do you remember Floam and Gak? If you grew up in the 90’s then you know exactly what I’m talking about! These fun Nickelodeon playtime novelties were all the rage back in the day.

The fun texturized play compound, Floam, can be molded, squished, flattened, shaped and squeezed for hours of sculpting fun! Floam was invented 20 years ago but this new formula makes for even easier clean up with less mess. It’s reusable too, just squash the colorful Floam back into the airtight container when you’re done! Or, create a masterpiece and let it dry overnight to keep forever!

The super squishy collectible Gak is a cool compound with an unusual texture. What can you do with Gak? You can squish, squeeze, squash, stretch, bounce, plop, pop stuff, smoosh, Twist, Bubble… and make wacky Gak sounds with it! Whew! Gak has been reformulated for easy clean up as well. Keep your Gak fresh and goopy in between play sessions by storing it in the wacky airtight container.

floam gak Nikelodeon fun!

My family spent over an hour playing with Nikelodeon Floam and Gak last weekend, it was a blast! There’s nothing like a good blob {or two} of fun to get the conversation started! My teen and his girlfriend asked to open up the packages, they were having a great time pulling, stretching, plopping and creating.

After prepping the Floam by kneading it for a few minutes, they made lovely sculptures of Spongebob Squarepants, Patrick Star, an octopus and more wit the brightly colored Floam. We didn’t have any issues with the Floam being too sticky, the red Floam did take a few extra minutes of kneading to get smooth enough to play with but that was no big deal!  Then we dug into the Gak!

Gak is awesome. It looks like it would be sticky and gooey, but it isn’t at all. It has a weird cool/hot feel to it and is really fun to play with. I thought it was a great way to relieve stress! I love how it got my older children talking and laughing with us, anything that can do that, is welcome in our home!
