You are so beautiful! – Win a $50 Visa gift card #Giveaway to treat yourself to a little something special!

April gift card giveaway

Everyone has their own idea of what beauty means to them. And, we all have ways of keeping our surroundings and bodies attractive to our own eyes and to those around us. Some people are happy with their appearance and comfortable with the way they look, others — not so much. Some people have plans to “age gracefully” while others would rather do everything in their power to ward off the beginnings of wrinkles, sags and less attractive parts of getting older.

I think it’s a highly personal decision whether or not to let age take it’s natural progression or to be a little more retroactive with your body care as you age. If a little bit of pick-me up in the decolletage area will make you feel better and give you a happier, more positive outlook on life, then I say go for it!  If you’d rather not, then don’t! I think it’s wonderful that women today have so many options available to them that will let them choose HOW they would like to age.

No matter what your age, I know that you would enjoy a little something for yourself to make you feel beautiful. One lucky reader will be able to buy themselves their perfect beauty fix with this $50 Visa gift card giveaway courtesy of Dr. Buford of Beauty by Buford. Dr. Buford’s website is a wonderful resource for those thinking about or interested in enhancing their bodies.

  71. 72

I’ve been thinking about under eye liposuction, but haven’t quite made up my mind if I will or won’t. I think it’s great that people have the option to make themselves look better/feel better, but wish there weren’t so many seeking “perfection”.

I wouldn’t consider surgery for the next few years, I’m still pretty young! But I won’t say “never” because who knows how I will feel in 20 years? I wouldn’t be against a few procedures here and there for maintenance if I really felt it would make me happier.

  75. 76

Honestly, this is something I have grappled with my whole life, but I truly believe that cosmetic surgery is not going to solve the problems you have with self image. You can always find something on the outside that needs improvement. Work on the inside, that is what truly important.

  85. 86

I would never get plastic surgery everyyone is created a certain way that makes them unique! Why would you want to change the way GOD created you. I was teased growing up everyday for a birthmark on my face and it made me loose alot of self esteem. Now that im older i dont lower my self esteem because someone teases me, karma is a mean thing. I know im beautiful inside and out and everyone should feel that way regardless of the things they feel they have wrong with them. GOD created us this way for a reason. :)

only if i was like in a car accident and got deformed or something

  87. 88

  101. 102
    Penny Snyder says

I would if insurance would pay for it :( grammypenny@frontier.com

  102. 103
    Christie Kammerer says

Absolutly I would because I do not want to grow old gracefully.

  103. 104

At this time, I don’t think I would, but I would never say never.

  104. 105

Probably not surgery but I’d consider a filler or some other “non-surgical” procedure when I get older.

  105. 106

Only if I had a medical reason!!

  106. 107

I don’t need it yet but if I did I would. If I could afford it of course.

  107. 108

  108. 109

  110. 111
    Miz Vickik says

No, I wouldn’t risk the complications of surgery. Thanks!

  111. 112

I would consider a breast lift as I get older if things go too far south, but otherwise, plastic surgery is only for reconstructive surgery, not for changing natural looks.

  112. 113

Well, if I had the money, I would. My jaw isn’t alligned right & was never fixed so my teeth get ground down so I’d get my jaw re-alligned and get dental implants. Also, I’d get a mini facelift, a little lipo, and a butt lift. And a little nose job.

  113. 114

The only plastic surgery I would get is to have a mole on my face removed.

  117. 118
    Candice Hull says

Nope. I look like my mom and I’m supposed to. We aren’t all supposed to look alike or like what the media says we are supposed to. Yes, I would like some fat off the tummy, arms, legs, everywhere, just means I need to hit the gym more
Thank you for the chance to win!

I think I might. Just VERY little…not a big overhaul.

  148. 149

Yes, I would. I don’t think that improving ones self is anything to be ashamed of whether it be physically or mentally. My opinion is that if you read books for pleasure, then you should have no issues with getting lipo or a nosejob for pleasure (as long as its fiscally responsible to do so). As much as it shouldn’t be, physical appearance means a lot to most people, including the person who determines how much to pay you at work and lots of other instances too.

  149. 150

Yes I would. I think its a personal choice, and if it makes you feel better and more confident, go for it !

I would only get plastic surgery if it was an emergency, accident, disfigurement… 5 years ago I would have said no under any circumstance, until the day before my birthday my 14 month old son was bit in the face by a dog and had to have 3 plastic surgeries on his eyelid, one to repair it and two to graft skin so that he was not deformed. So now I look at plastic surgery a little different than I used to!
