Everyone has their own idea of what beauty means to them. And, we all have ways of keeping our surroundings and bodies attractive to our own eyes and to those around us. Some people are happy with their appearance and comfortable with the way they look, others — not so much. Some people have plans to “age gracefully” while others would rather do everything in their power to ward off the beginnings of wrinkles, sags and less attractive parts of getting older.
I think it’s a highly personal decision whether or not to let age take it’s natural progression or to be a little more retroactive with your body care as you age. If a little bit of pick-me up in the decolletage area will make you feel better and give you a happier, more positive outlook on life, then I say go for it! If you’d rather not, then don’t! I think it’s wonderful that women today have so many options available to them that will let them choose HOW they would like to age.
No matter what your age, I know that you would enjoy a little something for yourself to make you feel beautiful. One lucky reader will be able to buy themselves their perfect beauty fix with this $50 Visa gift card giveaway courtesy of Dr. Buford of Beauty by Buford. Dr. Buford’s website is a wonderful resource for those thinking about or interested in enhancing their bodies.

I wouldn’t because I’m happy as I am
I have had it 5 times from age 3 to 18 ! I was born scared on the top of my head. That was bald & I have had 5 scalp reductions.
Nope! I have extensive vitiligo, had it since childhood and have come to terms with that. Anything else regarding my appearance is a cake walk since that!
I would! After childbirth..I need it!

I believe I would if I could afford it, but my amazing husband would kill me.
Right now I would say that I wouldn’t simply because I can’t afford it. But if I ever did anything it would be relatively minor, fixing my sagging eyelid and lifting the boobs so they don’t touch my belly button.
I would never get plastic surgery. I believe you should keep the looks that you are born with
I would if I was disfigured in an accident or something, but otherwise, I like my natural body.
If anything I’d get a neck lift when I’m older. The difference is amazing!
The only reason I would ever get it done is if it was a medical necessity. Otherwise, I’m fine with the way I look. I’ve never been a beauty, and I’m okay with that.
Michelle
I wouldn’t get plastic surgery unless I had some feature that really stood out as unattractive and distracting or was disfiguring.
I would love to get a breast lift or lipo.
I have been considering getting plastic surgery more often lately. If I could afford it and was very comfortable with the surgeon, I think I’d do it.
I would love to get my belly fixed, but I’m terrified of going under the knife so that would never happen!
I would get a tummy tuck after I’m done having kids
I only do because I lost a lot of weight and am now in need of a breast reduction. I wouldnt do it otherwise, Im not into all that vanity stuff.
Sure, I would love a little liposuction. I really would love to have flat abs.
i’ve always said no but…

I don’t think I’d ever get plastic surgery. I’m not a vain person, but, if I had the money, maybe I’d reconsider.
I don’t know if I’d get plastic surgery. It depends how old I can get! =)
I would get a boon job because I like the attention.
No, because God made me who I am!
To each its own but it is diffently not for me because I am comfortable in my own skin
I used to think I would never get plastic surgery. Then I went through 6 major surgeries and months of chemo for cancer. My body was just worn out at the end of treatment. As I healed I decided to do something to feel better about myself and celebrate the completion of the journey. I had a neck lift and am excited that I no longer have a double chin. I don’t feel the need to do more, but I’m happy I did this much.

This is exactly why I think it’s wonderful that the options are out there for those who really can benefit from it!
I wouldnt because if people dont like the way that I look I dont wanna be around them anyways!
Yes, maybe, if I could afford it. Thanks!
No, I’m happy with the way I’m aging; but I would like to get what they call the “Mommy Package”, tummy tuck and breasts lifted.
I don’t frown on people who do it because I feel that they don’t have as much self-confidence and that it’s a difficult thing to go through. On the other hand, it’s not something I would personally do because I am content with my body.
I would certainly consider it in my older years
brich22 at earthlink dot net
Of course, who wouldn’t want it, but I wouldn’t go through with it if I had the money.
no. too expensive
I would not – I’d rather spend my money on something fun!
maybe something minor if I could afford it
no because it isnt worth it
No, I don’t think I would; I embrace my imperfections as qualities that make me unique, and I worry too much about the dangers and side effects of cosmetic surgery.
I think I would have some work done if I could afford it.
I would never get plastic surgery unless I had some kind of accident. I am proud of what God gave me!
If my health was good, yes I would!
No, I wouldn’t get plastic surgery, unless some sort of emergency, but not just to look better. : )
I would only get plastic surgery if I was disfigured by some accident or something, but never out of sheer vanity.
I don’t think I’d ever get it done in vain bc I’d be too scared
Hmm only if I was badly injured, and only for my psychological comfort
No, I am ok with what I was given plus it is so expensive!

I wouldn’t get plastic surgery unless it was to help after a horrible accident or something like that. I’d like to avoid surgery if possible.
If I could afford it, I would.

No, I’ll keep whatever life gives me. Too much put on looks to suite me.
yes I would be open to it
I’m for it but only if I could afford it
I would never get plastic surgery
I was born with a cleft lip and cleft palate so plastic surgery isn’t a big deal to me. I’ve had over 40 surgeries and there are a few more I’d like to get to look more normal but I can’t aford it.

Yes but I would need more disposable income. It comes down to money for me. Currently I need to save for retirement.
I would never get plastic surgery. I feel that everyone is made they way they are suppost to be.thanks
No! I want to “grow old gracefully”, as they say! *LOL*
Thank You! (PS I would however like to find a wrinkle cream that really works!)
no – while I’m not always happy with myself, I want to leave a good example for my daughter!
I have always said that I would love to have plastic surgery, a tummy tuck, a boob lift ect. but I have figured out that all my irregularities are what makes me…what sets me apart from everyone else.
I would if I could afford it I lost a lot of weight due to lap band surgery and have hanging skin it would make me feel better about myself
No, I have come too close to death due to necessary surgeries to risk getting a vanity one.

I don’t think I would unless it was medically necessary. Any surgery has risks and I wouldn’t want to take a chance for something elective.
no i would not, because it is painful 3
ardelong2(at)gmail(dot)com
I would consider it if I had extra money laying around, probably nothing drastic, but some lifting perhaps :)
I would definitely get plastic surgery if I could afford it. I HATE getting old.
The only type of plastic surgery I would get is to remove the two scars I have on the sides of my face from when I was a child…
Nothing cosmetic. Only reconstructive if necessary.
Thanks for the giveaway…I would have to let you know in about 15 years…never say never !
senorpiero [at] yahoo [dot] com
If I was in a car accident or something terrible, plastic surgery would be something I’d consider. Otherwise, it’s not for me. I look just fine.
nope, dont think i need it
No, unless I was in some kind of accident
I would never get plastic surgery… there are too many risks and I am comfortable with what I was given!
Yes I would get plastic surgery to fix my broken nose and to fix my chin that I think was broken too
I would have plastic surgery. Most people see the Hollywwod side of it but people who have experienced burns or trauma get plastic surgery also. and in those circumstances I would get the surgery.
If I were disfigured in an accident I might get plastic surgery, probably not otherwise.
Only if I messed something up and need it back to normal!
I wouldn’t, but I fully support those who do! I would love to win this for my wife.
dvdgossett915@gmail.com
Only as life saving procedure or if my back started giving me problems I would get a breast reduction, because I am scared of going under the knife and dying
No way. I’d much rather grow old gracefully. Wish everyone else would too – sad to see plasticized faces and bodies. Just yesterday, I saw a photo on a news website of a lab monkey being injected into the eyelid with botox. I didn’t have the heart, or stomach, to click on the photo. :-(
I would. If I feel it would make me feel better about myself, and if I had the funds, I would do it in a heart beat. :-) Thank you.
I happen to like myself , so I will grow old with my self. If I have an accident then yes, I will use the service.

Too chicken to even consider the possibility of elective surgery.
id get laser hair removal, but thats it!
I would never get plastic surgery. God made me this way for a reason!
If I had a never ending bank account I might get a little nip and tuck.
I wouldn’t get it because I think the risks outweigh the benefits
I would probably get botox, but I would not get any surgery as I would be too afraid of how it would turn out. Thank you for the lovely giveaway!

I dont think I would
I would never get plastic surgery. I feel I was made the way I was supposed to be.
I have to admit that I might when it comes to my ears. I have very big ears and used to be called Dumbo when I was growing up. I am still so self conscious about them.

I would, want to look great
I’m 63 and have no intentions of doing any such thing. I’m fine the way I am.
Thanks for the contest.
I’d get a nose job because I hate my nose and have always said if I had the money I’d get it fixed!
I would love a breast lift and possibly something done for my arms but can not afford it,so will just deal with what I have. Thanks!
No I would not do it. I have seen so many bad Hollywood facelifts.
no never its a waste of money
I would not get plastic surgery. I don’t feel I need it
I never would get plastic surgery unless it was to correct another problem (surgery scars for example) I believe you are what you are and beautiful inside and outside.
I would not have plastic surgery. I’m comfortable in my own skin right now. Years ago, I would probably have considered it.
I’d say no, but then I realized I might consider breast reduction
i would but i cant afford it
No I would not, I am fine with the way I am.
No, too painful and expensive.
No Plastic Surgery for me unless I loose lots of weight and need a tummy tuck.
Absolutely… and I plan on it! :)
If money was no object, I probably would. I would love to have my boobs done. I have 2 daughters and breastfed three years between them. My boobs now sag like crazy. lol thank you!
Never! Not because I’m against it, but because I’m too afraid of getting cut up!
I would because I want to be able to do cannonballs in the pool without my swimsuit top flipping over my head. (not a fan of one piece swimsuits) ;)
why lie about it?? I WOULD if I could!… after 2 pregnancies and 1 c-section, my abdomen looks like a train ran me over ten times… seriously, i know its a passage into ‘motherhood’ … but i really miss my stretch-free skin and wearing a 2 piece… but even if i never get the plastic surgery, i still wouldnt give up my pre-mommy body for my kids.. they are truly worth it! :)
At this point of my life I wouldn’t.
I’m happy with myself and don’t see any need.
Thank you.
If I ever lost the weight I want to, I’d get the stretched out, baggy skin flaps tucked.
No, not unless I got into an accident and was disfigured.Changing my looks wouldn’t change the person that I am.
no I wouldnt. I would grow old gracefully.
Never! I don’t believe in the concept of it!
no bedause it costs to much
I have gotten plastic surgery.
Not sure… I would if I needed, but would be scared of a botched sugery!

No I would not get plastic surgery because I am who I am-take me or leave me.
I would not get plastic surgery.
probably not..
I would want to get plastic surgery, but if they messed up, it’s hard to fix! Scary.
I only would if I was disfigured; otherwise I am happy with what God gave me.
No, I never would…I am the way I am.

I would only get plastic surgery if it was an emergency, accident, disfigurement… 5 years ago I would have said no under any circumstance, until the day before my birthday my 14 month old son was bit in the face by a dog and had to have 3 plastic surgeries on his eyelid, one to repair it and two to graft skin so that he was not deformed. So now I look at plastic surgery a little different than I used to!
no i would not, waste of money
I don’t think I would. Thanks for the giveaway.
If I could afford it, I def would!
I don’t think that I would ever get plastic surgery. Things can go wrong in surgery and I hope that I will be okay with my looks when I am older.
i would never get plastic surgery that to me is silly if you cant love yourself the way you are then you need to sit back and look at life again
I would. There is one or two things I don’t like as I get older.
tdlsfm(at)gmail(dot)com
I wouldn’t mind a tummy tuck.
no I wouldn’t thanks
I don’t think I would ever get plastic surgery, because I like myself the way I am
I would love and jump at the chance to have laser hair removal on my face since I have Hypertrichosis, the older I get the worse it get and I hate it. Would probably also do something to/with my stomach but at least that I can hide some, my face however I can’t.
I would never consider getting plastic surgery. I am happy with how I look and I really hate surgery!

I wouldnt. Just continue being me.
I would not have plastic surgery. This is what I was born with, and what I’ve lived with all my life. And I’m kinda used to it! :) Thanks.
Yes I would. I think its a personal choice, and if it makes you feel better and more confident, go for it !
Yes, I would. I don’t think that improving ones self is anything to be ashamed of whether it be physically or mentally. My opinion is that if you read books for pleasure, then you should have no issues with getting lipo or a nosejob for pleasure (as long as its fiscally responsible to do so). As much as it shouldn’t be, physical appearance means a lot to most people, including the person who determines how much to pay you at work and lots of other instances too.
I think I might. Just VERY little…not a big overhaul.
i really want to get a mommy makeover, a tummy tuck and breast lift
i would like to win :)
Yes, I would love a tummy tuck and breast reduction/lift
No, when I get old, I am fine with looking like it. It is part of the aging process, and I am proud of who I am.
nope, dont want it
NO
i would get plastic surgery if i had something serious to correct (like disfigurement or a broken nose) but i wouldn’t change anything right now…well, maybe tummy tuck to get rid of all that extra skin after kids
I would never ever get plastic surgery. I don’t even wear a lot of make-up because I think it’s unnatural.
Nope. Doing fine without it
I would consider it. Maybe an eye lift.
Only to correct an injury or something like that.
Thanks for the chance.
mogrill12@gmail.com
I would only consider it if I somehow became wealthy enough to afford the very best doctors and even then would only have minimal surgery. I don’t like the fake, horrid look of women with too much plastic surgery.
No, I would not because I like me just the way God made me.
I’d like to get my drooping eyelids lifted—at my age I have to lift them up over my head to be able to see!
No, unless I had to have reconstructive surgery for some reason. I’m satisfied with the way God made me!
no i would not
AT THE PRESENT TIME NO….BUT YOU REALLY DON’T KNOW WHAT WILL HAPPEN TOMORROW THAT YOU MIGHT NEED IT
I would only get plastic surgery if I needed it due to an injury. I think we should age gracefully and quit trying to project an unreal image to our next generation.
No, I would never get plastic surgery. I’m ok with my body, flaws and all.
Sorry about the previous post! Please delete.
No, I wouldn’t get cosmetic surgery unless it was medically necessary because I believe in aging normally
No, just not my thing. I’m ok with what I’ve got.
I would if I could afford it and could find a really talented surgeon.
Probably not, maybe a nose job…
nope. too afraid of things going wrong.

Yes, I would get a jawline repair if I could afford it.
Nope. If even celebrities can end up with awful plastic surgery, then someone like me doesn’t stand a chance.
a big maybe ….maybe a mini facelift
no, it’s too risky and I’d probably just look worse
I don’t think I would have plastic surgery, but never say never, right? LOL
canastaxyz@yahoo.com
Nope. I look like my mom and I’m supposed to. We aren’t all supposed to look alike or like what the media says we are supposed to. Yes, I would like some fat off the tummy, arms, legs, everywhere, just means I need to hit the gym more
Thank you for the chance to win!
The only plastic surgery I would get is to have a mole on my face removed.
I want to have an eyebrow lift. They seem to be sliding down and making my eyes smaller
I would to get rid of the skin from losing weight
vmkids3 at msn dot com
I don’t see myself getting plastic surgery yet, but if i were to ever get the opportunity to remove my love handles, hell yes! They are frustrating.
Well, if I had the money, I would. My jaw isn’t alligned right & was never fixed so my teeth get ground down so I’d get my jaw re-alligned and get dental implants. Also, I’d get a mini facelift, a little lipo, and a butt lift. And a little nose job.
I would consider a breast lift as I get older if things go too far south, but otherwise, plastic surgery is only for reconstructive surgery, not for changing natural looks.
No, I wouldn’t risk the complications of surgery. Thanks!
If I had the money I’d do a little liposuction after getting as fit as I could naturally.
Only if I had an accident or health issue that caused so change to the “original” me.
yes i can
I don’t need it yet but if I did I would. If I could afford it of course.
Only if I had a medical reason!!
Probably not surgery but I’d consider a filler or some other “non-surgical” procedure when I get older.
At this time, I don’t think I would, but I would never say never.
Absolutly I would because I do not want to grow old gracefully.
I would if insurance would pay for it :( grammypenny@frontier.com
No, not unless I needed it because of an accident or something. I just see it as a waste of money.
I would consider getting plastic surgery if I would be able to have the time off work and if it was affordable.
I would not.looks ridiculous
No but I might want to get some weight loss surgery or LASIK.
I have had plastic surgery in the past and loved it! I wouldn’t go crazy like some celebs, but I could go for one more!
No, I think God made us how he wanted and it is unnatural to change what he made you.
I would not because I prefer not to undergo cosmetic procedures.
Leave a comment telling me if you would ever get plastic surgery and why or why not?”
no,but im hip to a plastic brain
No plastic surgery for me!
I don’t think I would, too many things could go wrong.
Yeah I would get a boob job!
I always say never say never, but I don’t think I would ever have plastic surgery. I would like to age gracefully, and I have finally gotten comfortable in my own skin. :)
i sure would….if i had the money the eyes would get done.
I wouldn’t, not because I think I’m perfect, but because I think it would become an addiction to me i would keep seeing something I wanted to change. I wouldn’t do that to myself.
only if i was like in a car accident and got deformed or something
I would never get plastic surgery everyyone is created a certain way that makes them unique! Why would you want to change the way GOD created you. I was teased growing up everyday for a birthmark on my face and it made me loose alot of self esteem. Now that im older i dont lower my self esteem because someone teases me, karma is a mean thing. I know im beautiful inside and out and everyone should feel that way regardless of the things they feel they have wrong with them. GOD created us this way for a reason. :)
I would get plastic surgery. I think there’s always room for improvement!
I got a mole removed off my face, does that count? if it does then I would. I would do a tummy tuck or a boob lift not an implant though, if i had the money. I would only do things that wouldn’t make me look all plastic and weird. Like those weird lip implant things
No, I’ve heard too many horror stories.
Never unless it was medically necessary.
Yes to fix my deviated septum. I’d like to be able to breaaaaaaaaaathe again.
I would get plastic surgery if I could afford it.
I’m not yes or no on it..
I believe you have to learn to love yourself, so unless you had some gross deformity or it was medically necessary I am against it for me. And I have a HUGE nose! LOL. Honestly, this is something I have grappled with my whole life, but I truly believe that cosmetic surgery is not going to solve the problems you have with self image. You can always find something on the outside that needs improvement. Work on the inside, that is what truly important.

I would not because I personally don’t think it is worth the risk of infection and dying but to each her own.
I don’t plan on it, not that I’m opposed to a little nip and a tuck here and there but I’m very compulsive and obsessive so I’d end up looking like Jocelyn Wildenstein.
I wouldn’t consider surgery for the next few years, I’m still pretty young! But I won’t say “never” because who knows how I will feel in 20 years? I wouldn’t be against a few procedures here and there for maintenance if I really felt it would make me happier.
I had botox and its magical. When I looked in the mirror I was seeing myself 20 years ago so I might would consider surgery.
If I needed plastic surgery and it would make me feel better, I would absolutely get it.
I’ve been thinking about under eye liposuction, but haven’t quite made up my mind if I will or won’t. I think it’s great that people have the option to make themselves look better/feel better, but wish there weren’t so many seeking “perfection”.
no…Im gonna stay all natural :-)
If I could afford it I would! If it makes me feel more confident and it doesn’t hurt anyone else, than why not?
I would not because I am happy the way that I am.
I do not plan on having plastic surgery. I am not sure if I would.
No I wouldn’t. I get keloid scars so it isn’t an option for me.
I have already had a nose job. I got my Dads italian very large nose. I probably wouldnt do anything else though
I hope I never get plastic surgery – I’m a firm believer in aging gracefully. Just hope I don’t change my mind as the years go by…
I wouldn’t want plastic surgery, I like looking like myself.
I’ve always wanted a breast reduction.
No, I will probably never get plastic surgery. I can think of many other things to spend my money on!
Yes. If I had the money I’d go today. Aging sucks.
I probably wouldnot because the risk just isn’t worth it.
If I could afford it, I would like the neck flab tightened up!
Never, scared of surgery
If I had some scars or something that I felt was really ugly, I think I would. Just for vanity, no.
Thanks so much.
Nope, not into the superficial aspects of life. Have a wonderful guy who likes me for me and doesn’t even like me wearing makeup.
I don’t think I have the courage to do plastic surgery, not a fan of hospital and needles.
I would not because I’m a very natural person.
no way. god made me the way i am and i accept it.
I wouldn’t personally because I have no problem with the way I look like and it would be a waste of money since. If a person has a problem with their appearance, I don’t see the problem with plastic surgery though.
I’d never get plastic surgery because I am afraid of medical procedures and avoid Doctors
No I would not! Because Im happy with myself!! But I am dieting!!

I might in the future, but right now there isn’t anything I’d like to fix that is worth the risks.
No I never would-I am not obsessed with outward appearances.I will age as nature intended.

I would not get plastic surgery because any surgery has risks.
I don’t think I’d get plastic surgery…but I have learned to never say never.
I prefer wrinkles to wax museum looking faces!
ony if i had a medical reason
i wouldn’t get it done unless i was in a bad accident or something.
