You are so beautiful! – Win a $50 Visa gift card #Giveaway to treat yourself to a little something special!

April gift card giveaway

Everyone has their own idea of what beauty means to them. And, we all have ways of keeping our surroundings and bodies attractive to our own eyes and to those around us. Some people are happy with their appearance and comfortable with the way they look, others — not so much. Some people have plans to “age gracefully” while others would rather do everything in their power to ward off the beginnings of wrinkles, sags and less attractive parts of getting older.

I think it’s a highly personal decision whether or not to let age take it’s natural progression or to be a little more retroactive with your body care as you age. If a little bit of pick-me up in the decolletage area will make you feel better and give you a happier, more positive outlook on life, then I say go for it!  If you’d rather not, then don’t! I think it’s wonderful that women today have so many options available to them that will let them choose HOW they would like to age.

No matter what your age, I know that you would enjoy a little something for yourself to make you feel beautiful. One lucky reader will be able to buy themselves their perfect beauty fix with this $50 Visa gift card giveaway courtesy of Dr. Buford of Beauty by Buford. Dr. Buford’s website is a wonderful resource for those thinking about or interested in enhancing their bodies.

  2. I wouldn’t because I’m happy as I am

  3. Marcy Strahan says:

I have had it 5 times from age 3 to 18 ! I was born scared on the top of my head. That was bald & I have had 5 scalp reductions.

  4. Nope! I have extensive vitiligo, had it since childhood and have come to terms with that. Anything else regarding my appearance is a cake walk since that!

  5. Jessica Hays says:

I would! After childbirth..I need it!

    jessicaahays at hotmail dot com

  6. I believe I would if I could afford it, but my amazing husband would kill me.

  7. Betty Curran says:

Right now I would say that I wouldn’t simply because I can’t afford it. But if I ever did anything it would be relatively minor, fixing my sagging eyelid and lifting the boobs so they don’t touch my belly button.

  8. James Coyne says:

I would never get plastic surgery. I believe you should keep the looks that you are born with

  9. Carolyn K. says:

I would if I was disfigured in an accident or something, but otherwise, I like my natural body.

  10. Breanne says:

If anything I’d get a neck lift when I’m older. The difference is amazing!

  11. Michelle Tucker says:

The only reason I would ever get it done is if it was a medical necessity. Otherwise, I’m fine with the way I look. I’ve never been a beauty, and I’m okay with that.
    Michelle

I wouldn’t get plastic surgery unless I had some feature that really stood out as unattractive and distracting or was disfiguring.

  13. Brittney House says:

I would love to get a breast lift or lipo.

  14. Jennifer T. says:

I have been considering getting plastic surgery more often lately. If I could afford it and was very comfortable with the surgeon, I think I’d do it.

  15. I would love to get my belly fixed, but I’m terrified of going under the knife so that would never happen!

  16. I would get a tummy tuck after I’m done having kids

As I healed I decided to do something to feel better about myself and celebrate the completion of the journey. I had a neck lift and am excited that I no longer have a double chin. I don’t feel the need to do more, but I’m happy I did this much.

  29. Margaret says:

I don’t frown on people who do it because I feel that they don’t have as much self-confidence and that it’s a difficult thing to go through. On the other hand, it’s not something I would personally do because I am content with my body.

I would only get plastic surgery if it was an emergency, accident, disfigurement… 5 years ago I would have said no under any circumstance, until the day before my birthday my 14 month old son was bit in the face by a dog and had to have 3 plastic surgeries on his eyelid, one to repair it and two to graft skin so that he was not deformed. So now I look at plastic surgery a little different than I used to!

  154. Yes I would. I think its a personal choice, and if it makes you feel better and more confident, go for it !

  155. mike s. says:

Yes, I would. I don’t think that improving ones self is anything to be ashamed of whether it be physically or mentally. My opinion is that if you read books for pleasure, then you should have no issues with getting lipo or a nosejob for pleasure (as long as its fiscally responsible to do so). As much as it shouldn’t be, physical appearance means a lot to most people, including the person who determines how much to pay you at work and lots of other instances too.

  191. Well, if I had the money, I would. My jaw isn’t alligned right & was never fixed so my teeth get ground down so I’d get my jaw re-alligned and get dental implants. Also, I’d get a mini facelift, a little lipo, and a butt lift. And a little nose job.

  192. I would consider a breast lift as I get older if things go too far south, but otherwise, plastic surgery is only for reconstructive surgery, not for changing natural looks.
