Wordless Wednesday – Tracks

These are some BIG cat tracks by the site my hubby is building a garage on. Last week the neighbor’s dog was killed and a horse was attacked. Another neighbor saw the cat and said it was a mountain lion. The other day when hubby showed up at the job site in the morning these two tracks were INSIDE the building shell! One set of large prints, and a set of small prints. I make sure to tell Super G. to be careful every morning!

The tracks are a bit smeared from all of the mud but you can definitely tell what they are!

Whoa!!! an attention getter for sure! living in the country we have to expect some of these things, and be ready. our neighbors saw a bob cat/mountain lion and so did a few other area farmers, but the state still says there are none in so. east WI… better tell the cats that. when my hubby goes up north with his buddy, he always packed for dangerous animals, esp bear. they have shaken the trailer they sleep in a few times. better to be safe than be someones lunch!

That is a big cat. If it’s got a cub with it, it’s going to be more dangerous too. Take care.
