Clint Eastwood rules my yard – Wordless Wednesday

It’s been awhile since you’ve seen any chicken photos so here’s one of our Roo. Remember when we bought him from Craigslist a few months ago? he was just a little guy then and barely had any tail feathers. Just look at how big he’s gotten! I never did tell you what name we decided to go with either! We loved everyone’s suggestions but when FabGrandma said he reminded her of Clint Eastwood, we knew that was his name!

Clint is a stinker. He likes to jump over the fence when he’s not supposed to and stand underneath the front window, or by the back door, and crow his head off! Gotta love him :)

That is one cool looking rooster. We tried to have one in the suburbs and it didn’t work out. He woke up the neighborhood at all times of the night.

My son called him the “Stupid Chicken”…

He now lives on a farm….

He is one fine looking rooster – he has the coloring that you would see in paintings of roosters, I love the black and white mixture of feathers.
    Beautiful photo.

Clint is a great name! so much better than the names my neighbor gave hers when she had them. and they loved to do the same things as Clint. One started pestering me & my yorkie so bad that Hubby threatened to cook him!(he was mean to her too, so she found a new home for him quick!) and the other decided to roost in the pine tree closest to our deck! he never stayed by her! LOL…

    Wow, he deserves the name!

Want. When my husband and I first started dating, he had chickens. Then the neighbor’s dog killed them all. We’ve been talking about getting some though!

  20. 22

I think it is amazing that you have a little rooter!

He really is a fine specimen with his red crown and fantastic feathers. Looks like he could take the ribbon at any Fall Fair! Great story, name and picture.
