Back To School 2011- Wordless Wednesday

Summer is over.
And it’s back to school.
I love the quiet.
But still miss these children who keep getting older.
While making me feel even older.

…yep. I let Mr.T. dye his bangs. He’s 16, a good kid who does well in school and {mostly} listens to his parents. I think it looks neat. :)

Ah! Awesome mom, letting him dye his bangs!

The hair was never a battle I thought was worth fighting either. I love that it’s an easy way for them to express themselves!

You’re a cool mom. :) My hair was every color of the rainbow in high school and I turned out just fine. I’ve never even smoked a cigarette! I think parents who get upset about these things are misguided.

Thanks! I don’t think my son will ever smoke either, he isn’t into any of that kind of thing which makes me so happy! I think as long as there is respect and trust then our kids can dress and style their hair how they want – within reason.

Both of the kids are so cute but Mr. T deserves an extra award for agreeing to hold the sign and posing for pics. What great kids!

I thought for sure he would try to get out of it this year but I guess he just knows it’s our tradition! When he goes off to college I’m making him hold that sign!!

Great Photos, I think your son looks awesome. I have always let my kids do things like that after a age. It is a identity thing and better to where clothes or dye their hair.

I totally agree with you on the hair! My husband has a different view though :(

    Great pics!

    I love the hair.

Our school district does not allow the children to dye their hair though. I don’t see anything wrong with it.
