10 school lunch box recipes the kids will actually eat! #Pinterest

It’s only the first day of school but I’m already thinking about that time when a month from now my daughter will start complaining about the daily PB&J sandwich that she usually finds in her lunch bag. She’s picky though and I can’t just throw anything in there or it will come back with a crumb picked off here and there or a decimated sandwich that she “says” she took a few bites out of.

Just for the record, tearing your sandwich apart into many many small pieces and piling them back on top of each other does not mean that you tried a few bites or ate your lunch in any way whatsoever… it just doesn’t. *insert eye roll from 10 year old girl-child here.

So enters my yearly quest to find lunchbox snacks which my daughter will actually eat. This year we’re going to experiment with sending some hot lunch items. We have never had luck with using a thermos to keep foods hot in the lunchbox in years past, but I am willing to give it a try again so that she can have more options.
