Silhouettes’ Hollywood Performance on AGT

Did you catch America’s Got talent tonight? In a night of ho-hum acts the last one just blew me away! The Silhouettes are a group of 42 dancers from The Rocky Mountains who range in age from three to nineteen. I cannot believe the beauty and creativity that their performance conveys!

Together they create a sort of shadow show with a large white screen {named Monte Pietra} that the dancers perform behind. It isn’t just dance though, they create images and shapes, a whole storyline of sorts, with their shadows. Tonight they performed a piece called “American Pride” to the song God Bless America. Just a few of the shapes their silhouettes formed were the White House, Mount Rushmore and The Statue of Liberty.

It was simply beautiful.
