Phineas And Ferb The Movie: Across The 2nd Dimension

With an action packed plot full of twists and turns, The Disney Channel Original Movie, “Phineas & Ferb The Movie: Across the 2nd Dimension“, promises to be full of suspense and drama as Perry The Platypus is finally revealed as the super cool secret that he really is! In this thrilling adventure, Dr. Doofenshmirtz has finally succeeded in taking over the entire Tri-State area — in another dimension that is!

Join step-brothers, Phineas Flynn (Vincent Martella) & Ferb Fletcher (Thomas Brodie-Sangster) , in their biggest journey yet as they team up with Perry (Dee Bradley Baker), the gang, and even their alter egos to keep Dr. Doofenschmirtz (Dan Povenmire) from returning to take over their own Tri-State area.

Phineas and Ferb The Movie Across The 2nd Dimension

Phineas & Ferb hasn’t been the #1 animated tv series for tweens for the past three years without reason! The Disney show is one that our whole family enjoys watching together, along with millions of other viewers young and old.

We always {always!} laugh and sing along to the silly songs, my favorite being “S.I.M.P.” (Squirrels in My Pants). The impossible schemes of Dr. Doofenshmirtz are so unrealistic and bogus that you just have to take pity on him, kind of. When the adorable family pet, Perry the Platypus, sneaks away to fight evil as “Agent P”, you know that Dr. Doof doesn’t stand a chance.

Phineas & Ferb’s suspicious sister, Candace (Ashley Tisdale), is always trying to capture her genius brothers in the act of one thing or another without success. She often gets caught up in the moment though when the love of her life , Jeremy Johnson (Mitchell Musso) is around, that is until things start to go wrong.

Our love of this series makes us very happy to hear about the new Phineas & Ferb movie coming this summer.

“Phineas And Ferb The Movie: Across The 2nd Dimension” is scheduled to premiere on Friday, August 5 (8:00 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney Channel and Saturday, August 13 (8:00 p.m., ET/PT) on Disney XD.

For even more excitement, you’ll want to be sure to check out the “Perry the Platy-bus On Tour”. Starting on Monday, July 11th, the 27-foot long, 4,000 pound Perry the Platy-bus Airstream trailer will be going on a coast-to-coast journey from New York City. The Platy-bus tour will wrap up with stops at the San Diego Comic-Con International on July21st – 24th and the Disney D23 Expo in Anaheim on August 19th – 21st.

There are also a ton of fun Phineas and Ferb toys, video games, books, website activities, household products, clothing and accessories out to celebrate the movie! One of our favorites being the Disney Records Phineas and Ferb music CD which is full of 26 songs from the series, including “Gitchee Gitchee Goo”! WooHoo!

Die hard fans will won’t want to miss the “Ultimate Fan Pack” available on August 23rd. The pack has the Phineas and Ferb The Movie: Across The 2nd Dimension DVD and digital copy, plus eight digital music tracks, deleted scenes, bonus episode, filmmaker commentary and more. We can’t wait! really!

We're excited for Phineas and Ferb's new movie!

On the left is the "I can't believe you're making me do this face". On the Right is the "Really, I'm happy inside see? face".

I’m easily amused ;)

That is only thing about not having cable. We have no clue what Phineas & Ferb is all about. Thanks for the review – I may have to see if we can see it on Netflix later.

Its an interesting show. My 3 year old likes to watch it from time to time but it seems to be for older kids while airing at the end of the toddler type programs on Disney.
